Reference no. 26/041 Salary range £57,687 (pay award from 1 September 2026 to be determined) Duration Fixed term for a period of 3 years* Working hours 1 FTE - 35 total hours Closing Date 5pm, Thursday 18th June 2026UHI Moray is seeking an innovative and collaborative Academic Lead to develop and drive forward the academic, skills and curriculum activity associated with the new Business Enterprise Hub, based in Elgin, Moray.
The Hub is a project developed through the Moray Growth Deal. The Growth Deal, which is supported by the UK and Scottish Governments, is a transformational initiative designed to maximise Moray’s future economic competitiveness. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the provision that will be offered through this new centre to support economic growth and skills development across Moray and the wider UHI regions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering responsive enterprise and business-focused learning opportunities that support entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation and workforce development. This role will work closely with employers, academic teams, enterprise agencies and community partners to ensure the Hub delivers high-quality learning, impactful engagement and meaningful economic outcomes. The Academic Lead will help position UHI Moray as a leading provider of enterprise education, entrepreneurial development and business innovation support.
The successful candidate must be educated to at least Masters Level (SCQF Level 11), with relevant educational, industrial and commercial experience in the design and delivery of high quality and flexible provision. The candidate will need relevant leadership experience and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues within the Hub and in the wider college community, while engaging effectively with stakeholders including the wider UHI partnership.
