Academic Guidance & Liaison Tutor (School of Coding - Full time and 2-year fixed term

Join Harper Adams University and play a key role in supporting students studying through our partnership with the School of Coding and AI (SoC). Working closely with colleagues across both organisations, you will monitor student progress, deliver targeted interventions, support academic integrity initiatives and contribute to enhancing the student experience. Your work will support the progress and achievement of a diverse cohort, predominantly mature learners from communities underrepresented in Higher Education.

The role will sit within Academic Guidance, part of the wider Learner Support Team based at the Edgmond campus, reporting to the Academic Guidance Manager. You will work closely with senior academic and professional services colleagues, including the Partnership Programme Manager and the Director of Academic Quality and Educational Partnerships. The role requires regular presence at the SoC Birmingham campus (minimum two days per month).

Applicants should hold an honours degree and a recognised teaching qualification, with substantial experience of teaching and providing academic support within Higher Education, Further Education or post-16 environments. They will have a proven ability to monitor engagement, implement effective interventions, and support diverse learners, with excellent communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
