Sense is recruiting for a 1st Line IT Analyst to join our successful ICT team. This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week at our office in Selly Oak, Birmingham
The successful candidate will provide IT support across the organisation via the service desk channels; 1st line support including ticket logging and categorising, diagnosing issues, fixing 1st level issues that on average are resolved in around 30 minutes from point of contact, passing to 2nd line all issues needing further or prolonged investigation. You will have a good understanding of current IT hardware and software, have an analytical approach to problem solving and have excellent communication and customer service-skills.
Key skills and experience
- 5 GCSE grade C including Maths, English and an IT related course.
- Previous IT Support experience either in a previous role, or in completed learning
- Excellent customer service skills
- Recent experience of working/learning in an IT support role and using IT call logging systems
- Experience in installing and supporting typical IT hardware including PC’s, printers, mobiles.
- Experience of routine IT administration tasks such as Active Directory account creation, password resets etc.
- Competent in the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of IT equipment with the ability to diagnose and resolve typical equipment faults.
- Strong understanding of current Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems, and Office packages
