Located in Aylesbury, Kent House is a specialist residential centre providing continuing rehabilitation and specialist care and support for people with acquired brain injury (ABI). It forms part of the nationwide network of rehabilitation support services provided by Brainkind.
We will train you to provide personalised support to our adult residents. You will follow individual support plans to meet the needs and aspirations of each person. The focus is developing independent living skills: personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, socialising – the daily routine of regular life.

Job Title: Young Person Support Worker Job Location: See Contract Accountable to: Line Manager Hours of Work: Job Purpose: 37.5 hours per week plus 1 contracted sleep per week on a flexible rota to include unsociable hours, weekends, bank holidays and sleepovers. Location: Gateshead, Tyne & Wear and South Tyneside
Salary:
£24,531 per annum.
Full-time role:
37 hours per week (Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm across a 7-day rota).
Key overview:
The Housing First support Worker will be responsible for coordinating and providing a person centred, strength-based support service to create long term sustainable tenancies by empowering individuals increasing independence, and maximising connectivity with the local community.
All activity will be underpinned by the following Housing First Principles:
