The service provides high support housing to service users with enduring mental health backgrounds. The service consists of 6 rooms with en-suite facilities and offers a full recovery and rehabilitation package to our service users.
We aim to support and assess on-going needs of our service users to build on their existing skills while learning new ones. All service users are allocated to a named Support Worker. Service users are required to fully participate in the process of planning their care, which includes attending support/key work sessions with staff; this time is for clients to discuss any issues or areas of concern they may have, or perhaps go out for a coffee/trip to local activities, or be supported with a practical task in their flat such as cleaning or laundry.
Role Responsibility
You will provide recovery focused support to service users in accordance with their support plans. You will have well-honed skills in positive communication, engagement, and will be able to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for service users.

VSA have an exciting opportunity available to join our care at home team as a Support/Care Worker covering various areas across Aberdeen. We have Full & Part-time permanent positions available and in return, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits.
Hours: Between 16-39hrs
Rota: This role has shifts available from 7am and latest shift finishing at 10pm. Rotas are reviewed on a fortnightly basis. You must be able to work every second weekend.
Location: Variable locations, caring for service users in their own home. Driving license would be beneficial but not essential. Salary: £12.81 per hour

Purpose of Job:

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicating effectively with individuals according to agreed standards and procedures, accessing and updating records in keeping with guidelines.
- Helping to provide a safe and protective environment by complying with health, safety, and security procedures, including medication, and reporting accidents/incidents when appropriate.

We are seeking to appoint a Graduate Assistant Teacher (Music) to work with us for a fixed term period of two years commencing from 1 January 2027. The Dragon is a dynamic and exciting school. Everyone works very hard but enjoys the buzz of the place. The intense periods of work are compensated by the school holidays.
The Assistant Teacher is part of a team supporting the day to day running of the School through assisting with supervision, patrolling, trips, sports and supporting the teachers in classrooms. These inevitably mean the Assistant Teacher is constantly in direct contact with the pupils.
One of the attractions of the role is that there is not generally a set pattern to the day. The day is therefore very varied with varied duties.
