The Iona Community is seeking a gifted and collaborative Musician to join our Abbey team on the Isle of Iona for the 2026 season. You’ll help shape and coordinate the music and singing for our twice-daily worship in the iconic Iona Abbey. You’ll also help to lead ‘Wee Sing’ sessions for guests from around the world and provide other support for our weekly Abbey guest programme.
Working in collaboration with the Iona Community’s Wild Goose Resource Group, you’ll represent and contribute to the musical culture that the Iona Community is known for across the world.

About the Role
We are currently looking to appoint a Recovery Worker to join our dynamic, multi-agency team at The Harbour. This role involves providing holistic, person-centred support to adult service users entering the service and coordinating their treatment journey.
As a Recovery Worker, you will play a key role in assessment, care coordination, delivery of psychosocial structured interventions (PSI), and multi-agency working, supporting individuals to achieve meaningful and sustainable recovery outcomes.
Working under the direction of the Team Leader, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team developing and delivering high-quality drug and alcohol services across Lambeth.
What You’ll Do
Manage a caseload of service users, regularly reviewing ongoing care and treatment
Liaise closely with a full range of specialist workers within the multi-agency team, including family members and significant others where appropriate
Work in partnership and undertake joint key working to support progression from semi-structured to structured psychosocial interventions
Support service users to access resources and services that increase recovery capital and help them achieve their recovery goals
Promote family, carer and service user involvement throughout treatment and recovery planning
Use excellent communication and therapeutic skills when working with service users, carers and partner agencies
Work collaboratively with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams, providing advice and guidance through meetings, reviews, group supervision and telephone support

About the service:
Oak house is a mental health crisis recovery house. We offer support for those in crisis from a range of 3-7 days. We are a five bedroom facility, with 24 hour staffing. Waking night staff shifts are a mix of 9:00pm - 07:00am and 10:30pm - 08:30am.
The people we support are central to everything we do. Each person who uses our services is a unique individual and they all deserve to be treated as such. As such, the responsibilities may vary from day to day.

Could you spare some time to support wellbeing at Longfield Community Hospice? We are looking for qualified Complementary Therapy Volunteers to provide gentle, client-centred complementary therapy treatments as part of our Living Well Services. In this role, you will offer one-to-one therapies to patients living with a life-limiting illness, as well as to carers, family members and people who have been bereaved. We have a range of roles for people passionate about supporting others to make change.
We have roles in different teams including:
- Community based treatment services: providing assessment, coordinating treatment and working partnership to support individuals. The roles include delivering structured psycho-social interventions in group and one to one level to enable our service users to acquire thinking skills and behaviours to make lasting change.

Role Responsibility
Recovery Workers act as ‘key workers’ to a caseload of service users, supporting them to decide their goals around treatment and develop plans to achieve these. The role includes maintaining regular contact with your clients, offering advice, information and psycho-social interventions as well as providing assessments, risk management planning and working closely with our clinical staff around prescribing needs and partner agencies. No day is the same in this role but an ability to communicate effectively with a range or service users and colleagues, an ability to manage different tasks and a commitment to Turning Point values are essential. You may have lived experience of substance use/mental health/homelessness (self or a significant other), come with experience supporting people in health and social care or just have a keen interest in supporting this group; if your values are right, we have a role for everyone.

Sense has an exciting opportunity for a Education Service Manager to join our fantastic College team. This will be a full time, permanent position working work at our College in Streatley.
The successful candidate will work with the Deputy ESM and senior college colleagues to effectively manage, plan and implement quality education, learning and care provision for learners with sensory loss/impairment and additional learning difficulties, who have an Education, Health and Care plan (EHCP) in place. You will be supporting the centre staff in participating fully in the development of Sense College education, learning and care provision that meets the needs and requirements of learners and external funding authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- To work to specified statutory guidance of the organisation, Ofsted, the Education and Skills Funding Agency and Local Authorities.
- To role model and lead effective Safeguarding practice in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education and Sense Safeguarding policies and practice.
- To lead and support person-centred education, learning and care provision that meets the needs of all college learners and meets the outcomes in the individual EHC plan.
- To ensure the care needs of all learners fully meets the organisational, college and individual requirements.
- To observe, supervise and appraise the performance of staff.
- To plan/lead Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities for staff in line with college and organisation policy and need.
- To manage behavioural support for learners who are experiencing difficulties in collaboration with Sense College Behavioural Support Adviser
- To plan and manage specified college centre budgets effectively.
- To chair staff meetings/review meetings with parents, external agencies and funders as required.
About You
- Relevant degree or higher level qualification
- Level 5 or above teaching qualification or willingness to enrol for one within the first 12 months of being in post
- At least 2 years’ experience in an educational management role
- A minimum of 2 years working with learners with disabilities
- Experience of curriculum planning and delivery for learners with S.E.N.D
- A demonstrable commitment to enabling an inclusive and diverse workforce to reflect our community.
- A positive attitude towards learners with disabilities and an appreciation of this role’s responsibility in keeping learners safe
- Knowledge and understanding of DfE Keeping Children Safe in Education requirements in an educational environment
- A working knowledge of specialist communication techniques in verbal and non-verbal communication
- Good written and verbal communication skills, able to produce letters and reports to a high standard and within tight timescales
- Experienced in staff management including supervision and staff development, identifying strengths and areas of improvement in overall performance
