About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our Support at Home service in the Fakenham area. This is a varied and rewarding role, combining leadership and administration with hands-on support, helping people to live independently in their own homes and within their local community.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will support the management team in a supervisory capacity while also delivering high-quality, person-centred support. You will lead by example, promote best practice, and help create a positive, open and safe culture for both staff and the people we support.

We are recruiting for a Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Accommodation team in Orkney.
Supported Accommodation Orkney provides a high-quality housing support service for young people aged 16-25 who are homeless in both Kirkwall and Stromness. The Senior Support Worker plays a key role in delivering person-centred, trauma-informed support and helping young people move towards independence and recover from homelessness.
The Senior Support Worker will lead a team of Support Workers to provide a high-quality support service, offering a person-centred approach.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and sustain a good working relationship with the Service Manager to ensure the programme develops in line with key objectives and desired outcomes.
- Develop good communication and working relationships with people we support, colleagues and other professionals.
- Represent Right There programmes positively and establish professional relationships and network with key stakeholders, partnerships, forums, including Local Authority, Social Work, Housing and other relevant bodies.
- Arranging and facilitating regular support and supervision sessions with your team members, utilising best practice in performance management to ensure staff are supported to undertake their roles.
- Completing yearly appraisals and personal development plans with your staff team.
- Complete rota planning, approve leave and plan and allocate shift cover.
- Participate in the National On Call system (on average 1 week in 12 weeks).
- Ensuring support planning is person-centred to identify goals and aspirations supported with a realistic timeline and inbuilt regular reviews
- Ensuring support is delivered in a strengths-based way to help people identify talents, passions and interests to broker opportunities for employment, skills development, recreation, and volunteering.
- Promoting involvement of those we support in the improvement and development of the programme.
- Advocate on behalf of people we support when required.
- Guiding Support Workers to improve access to treatment for people using drugs, to rebuild and sustain family relationships and to connect them to our counselling and in the community programmes.
- Have comprehensive local knowledge of other relevant programmes and support people to access these by signposting to other appropriate agencies such as health programmes, money advice programmes and other support agencies.
- Regularly review and audit files and reviewing risk assessments (keeping you safe) for those we support
- Compile Right There Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and any required local authority returns / reports.

- Your usual places of work will be Glaitness Farmhouse, Glaitness Road, Kirkwall, KW15 and 77-79 John Street, Stromness, KW16
- Your normal working hours are 17.5 per week. These hours are usually worked from 18.00-22.30 on a 9-week rolling rota, Monday to Sunday. 8 weeks of 4 shifts and 1 week of 3 shifts. There may be occasions of cover for the 17.00-22.30 sleep over finishing at 07.30, over time is paid for any additional hours, these could be at either of our accommodation bases in Kirkwall or Stromness.

Supported Accommodation Inverness provides 24-hour accommodation for care experienced young people aged 16-26 who are leaving care or at risk of homelessness. The Senior Support Worker will lead a team of support workers to provide high-quality support, to meet expected standards and quality outcomes for the people we support and create opportunities for the people we support to provide feedback and contribute to the development of the service.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team on a full-time basis, based at our service in High Wycombe. The main purpose of the role is to provide leadership and management to the care staff team, ensuring our service users receive the highest quality care and support in line with their individually assessed needs.
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a health or care service setting providing high quality care, and able to write and deliver effective care and person-centred care support plans.
Principle tasks will include:
· Lead on and develop person-centred Support Plans based on assessed needs and mindful to the wishes of the service user.
· Ensure the process of regular reviews of Support Plans with relevant input from relatives, other professionals and staff colleagues is completed.
· Update service user information in daily reports, care and health monitoring charts, accident and incident reports, and service message systems promptly being clear and accurate at all times.

You will be part of a team supporting a gentleman with an Acquired Brain Injury, Mental Health and Epilepsy to live independently in his own home. Previous experience with Mental Health would be welcomed.
As a large part of everyday life, you must be comfortable with and like dogs and support with him in the community. To ensure the person we support has freedom to do the activities he enjoys, we are also seeking drivers who have access to their own vehicle for work.
Our support team are very diverse and work well together to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes. This can include:
• Supporting them with medication • Cooking • Assisting with personal care • Maintaining the homes of the people we support • Community Involvement Where appropriate supporting with finances • Supporting to maintain his relationships with family and peers.
The gentleman we support will need support to become an active member of his local community and will require full support to be able to achieve this.
We are seeking support workers who can be reliable and motivated colleagues. Who are passionate and eager to learn person centred routines and preferences and be patient and understanding of individuals needs and behaviours.
You will work alongside those who is experienced in his care who will train you how to support him in a person centred approach the best way possible.
Shift patterns will vary to include mornings and afternoons between10am-4pm. Monday-Friday, with some requirement for occasional weekends and evenings. This could be subject to flexibility depending on the activities of the person we are supporting. Equally we are happy to consider a variation to these hours to suit the ideal candidate.

Accommodation is delivered in Wales, Dependency and Recovery in London and Humberside, Personal Wellbeing in East of England, Sussex, Surrey and as a subcontractor in Kent and Cheshire.
These services work with Men 18+ who are under probation supervision, supporting them to navigate through their desired outcomes in order to achieve transformational change, break the cycle of offending and achieve long-term integration into society.

Role Responsibilities
You will be working remotely as part of a flexible, multi-disciplinary team, covering boroughs across London as a Lived Experience Co-Ordinator in the Dependency and Recovery Services as part of the CRS probation system.
You will contact new POP, providing an information pack, promote the benefits of working with us and introduce them to our Lived Experience Peers (LEPs). You will establish a referral pathway and continually promote our service in London via locally tailored marketing/publicity, e.g., roadshows/events, workshops, surgeries, local media, leveraging material from our ongoing “More Than My Past” campaign, giving voice to people with lived experience, and reinforcing the message that recovery is possible
Our aim is to reduce re-offending through a comprehensive, holistic and person centred package of support. Our service is tailored to meet individual needs by delivering a range of programmes within the Dependency and Recovery framework.
This role is primarily responsible for the development and management of the LEP’s Mentor service You will be required to recruit, train and supervise day to day management of volunteers and LEP’s
You will also co-ordinate team meetings, update training and provide supervision for LEP’s and Volunteers and where applicable support with Level 2 peer mentoring qualification
You will be required to manage a diverse case load with a range of complexities and risk levels . You will be responsible for completing comprehensive assessments, creating a collaborative action plan, maintaining accurate record keeping throughout.
You will be responsible for adhering to the targets set by Forward and the local commissioners. Co-operative working relationships with other partner agencies and probation staff are vital to this role.
In addition to Monday-Friday we will provide out of hours support, so some degree of flexibility will be required (eg. evenings 5– 9pm/weekends 9am–5pm) provided virtually 1:1 and through an online and telephone helpline.
