As a Support Worker at Brandon Trust, you’ll be part of something meaningful—supporting autistic people and people with learning disabilities to live life in the way that suits them best. As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their life.
We support a variety of people with different interests from music, craft, cooking, gardening, allotment work, local walks, board games, pool and darts. The most important thing to the people we support is having someone kind and caring that they are able to spend time with a have a chat.

We are seeking two full-time Community Link Workers to join the Early Years Alliance team in Luton. Working within the Flying Start/Family Hub team, you will deliver family-focused services aimed at improving outcomes for children under five years. Responsibilities include outreach to schools, early years settings, and community venues, as well as facilitating evidence-based parenting programmes and Flying Start sessions.

Main duties of the role
- Facilitate evidence-based parenting programmes including (but not limited to) the parenting puzzle and Henry healthy families and parenting workshops; both within the community and in partner venues across Luton as well as virtual delivery.
- Facilitate universal and targeted group sessions as directed working as part of the Flying Start delivery team, including recording and inputting information on IT systems/databases.
- To offer a whole family / family centred approach to families, with emerging needs, to build confidence, motivation and resilience, using person-centred and strength’s-based approaches.

Change Mental Health have an exciting opportunity in NHS Highland’s new Community Link Worker service, for which we are proud to be the lead agency and delivery partner.
We are looking for Community Link Workers with a passion for supporting people to improve their mental and physical health outcomes. In this varied, new role you will be part of a large team across the Highlands that will take referrals from NHS Primary Care, supporting people whose health issues are rooted in social deprivation. The project will be embedded with Primary Care services and will develop links to community resources, ensuring that strong, working links are established between GP practices and their local communities. Working closely with GPs, Practice Nurses and other members of a Primary Care GP Practice or Practice Cluster, you will make links to community resources in order to help people improve their holistic health outcomes.
You will be responsible to a Senior Community Link Worker and you will have responsibility for a caseload, using Personal Support Planning to work collaboratively with people you support to reach their health goals.
People we are looking for
People who are, ideally, educated to SVQ level 2 or have relevant experience of work in health and social care. You should be able to plan and prioritise a workload and be confident about liaising with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
