VSA currently have an exciting opportunity available to join our Arrdeir House (Mental Health Service) as a Support/Care Worker based in Aberdeen. This will be a Part-time, Permanent position supporting the care of our residents and in return, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits.
This rewarding role involves providing a professional and caring service to our service users and although prior experience would be welcome, it is not essential as full training on the job will be provided. Hours: 28 hours per week
Working Pattern/Rota: 2 week rolling rota, working 4 shifts over 7 days including late and early shifts and every second weekend working. In addition you will be expected to do between 2-4 sleepovers per month, for which an additional sleepover allowance will be be paid per night. Flexibility is key if you are applying for this role.

Arrdeir House provides residential placements and 24 hour support for adults with ongoing and enduring mental health conditions. The main aim of the service is to promote independence and this is achieved by providing recovery-focused support, based on each individual’s needs and requirements.

- Complete observations of Support Workers and provide feedback and mentoring to support their development and completion of competencies

About the Role:
Our Supported Living Services support adults of all ages with autism spectrum conditions and other learning disabilities or related complex support needs. As a Support Worker in our Supported Living Homes, you will work as part of a strong and dedicated team, playing a big role in the support we give those that live there throughout their day to day lives. Honeysuckles is a service for females only with autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
It is a 4 bed house
It has a large communal area to sit and relax in, with a space for dining
There are two kitchen areas, a shared toilet on the ground floor and a shared bathroom with shower is on the first floor at the top of the stairs
There is a garage to store minimal items if needed
The are no night staff
We are looking for full-time flexible Support Workers to assist with covering days - can be discussed at interview. Flexibility to work every other weekend will also be required for this role.
As a support worker the day-to-day tasks that you will be required to complete can include:
· Supporting service users with administration of medication
· Supporting with personal care needs and nutritional needs
· To support with making and attending medical appointments, ensuring accurate comprehensive records are kept.

The Senior Business Support Officer is integral to the effective daily management and delivery of essential business administration services across Bradford Children and Families Trust. In this role, you’ll work within an integrated healthcare framework, delivering client-centred treatment that combines harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches. You’ll help individuals navigate their recovery journeys, preparing them for a safer, healthier future.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a caseload of clients, providing assessments, care planning, and structured 1:1 and group sessions.
- Delivering tailored interventions and treatment programmes to meet individual client needs.
- Supporting through-care and reintegration plans, liaising with housing, employment, probation, healthcare, and other key services.
