About You
We are looking for fully qualified to City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering and hold 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualification and a City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification. Water hygiene training and C&G Confined Space certificates are preferable (although training will be provided). Applicants should have a wide experience in carrying out routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to mechanical plant and equipment within the water utilities industry (water and waste water). JIB Gold Card is required.

- Monitor, analyse, and respond to security incidents, ensuring rapid detection, investigation, support and communication across the organisation.
- Maintain and improve security infrastructure, including vulnerability testing, troubleshooting, and contributing to change and integration processes.
- Build cyber security awareness and capability by developing campaigns, maintaining training materials, and training staff and ITS colleagues.
- Stay current with emerging threats and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements in a rapidly evolving context.
Qualifications, Experience & Technical Competencies:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field.
- Strong cyber security expertise, including incident response, digital forensics, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
- Advanced networking and security infrastructure skills, covering firewalls, IDS/IPS, routing/switching (Cisco/Meraki), TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and network architecture.
- Cloud and identity security experience, especially with Azure (Entra, Defender, Sentinel, Intune), Office 365, and exposure to Zero Trust principles.
- Proficiency with operating systems and automation, including Linux, Windows Server/11, virtualization (Hyper‑V), and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
- Relevant certifications and standards knowledge, such as CompTIA Security+/CASP, CISSP/CISM/CEH, and familiarity with ISO27001 best practices.

Project Description
The project operates across Ceredigion working with individuals who are vulnerably housed or homeless providing housing related support within people’s homes or in the community, with the aim of preventing homelessness and increasing independence.
Purpose of Role
To coordinate and provide support that enables and empowers Service Users to address housing and/or personal difficulties, build their skills and confidence, and ultimately improve their ability to maintain their accommodation. The support will not create or increase dependence. It will ‘do with’ rather than ‘do for’, so it’s likely that support will involve accompanying Service Users initially, in order to familiarise them with an activity or appointment. Support will help people improve their control, understanding and involvement in dealing with the issues that affect them, and assist Service Users to achieve their preferred outcomes.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
Please note: Driving Licence and access to own vehicle is essential for this role.

We are looking for Senior Support Workers / Intervenors to join our growing team in Hertfordshire.
Our Intervenors work 1:1 with children and adults who were born deafblind, known as congenital Deafblindness, often with other complex needs, working with them and their family or carers to develop a way of communicating.
Intervenors promote personal and social development whilst encouraging independence through enabling access to activities.
You will receive specialist training in how to support individuals who are congenitally deafblind, often combined with other disabilities.
It is essential for you to have a full UK license with the use of your own vehicle.

VSA currently have an exciting opportunity available to join Forestgait Lodge as a Support Worker. Our Forestgait service is housing support for adults with learning difficulties in King’s Gate, Aberdeen. At Forestgait Lodge we provide agreed person-centred support to each tenant, and the service is staffed 24-hours a day. The main aim of the service is to support tenants to maintain their tenancies and be as independent as possible, which is enabled by agreed support planning.

About the role:
As a Support Worker of this busy service you will be required to provide a quality service in order to meet the identified needs of service users, in line with specified VSA standards, policies, codes of practice and regulatory requirements, managing resources effectively within an agreed financial framework.
Responsibilities of our Support Worker will include: -
Guiding and actively supporting Tenants in Housing Support tasks while they re-learn or maintain skills necessary for remaining in their Tenancy.
Supporting service users as Tenants in their daily living through identified ‘Care at Home’ tasks. In particular support with cooking.
Taking the lead in planning, monitoring and reviewing service delivery plans to meet individual needs and preferences, within budgetary and funding constraints.
Overseeing and participating in the maintenance of accurate recording systems and reports (both manual and computerised) to meet agreed standards in line with administrative, regulatory and management purposes
Complying with and having a sound working knowledge of necessary legislative requirements as laid down through the care standards and recognising the impact of following these standards on the overall provision of service.
Developing one’s knowledge and practice continuously through participation in training and development activities.
Communicating effectively with individuals according to agreed standards and procedures, accessing and updating records in keeping with guidelines.
Helping to provide a safe and protective environment by complying with health, safety, and security procedures, including medication, and reporting accidents/incidents when appropriate.
Carrying out any other tasks from time to time, provided they are reasonable and within the post holders' capabilities.
Have awareness and work within internal control systems in your area to facilitate improvement in the quality of service provided.
What we are looking for in our Support Worker:
Ability to communicate well verbally with individuals
Experience of supporting people with autism/ Learning Disabilities would be advantageous but not essential
