About the role:
Provide comprehensive support to professional practitioners within Children’s Services by ensuring the efficient management of their workloads. Core duties involve the precise entry and ongoing updating of client records, diligent monitoring and tracking of cases, and the extraction and collation of crucial information from various sources—including reports and audiences, such as those linked to court proceedings. Maintain and systematically update child management record systems, manage documents with accuracy, and effectively coordinate team diaries and rotas to ensure seamless operational support.
Take an active role in arranging and facilitating meetings, activities, events, and contact sessions. This involves setting up meeting logistics, minute taking, and ensuring clear communication with clients and professionals. Provide a welcoming first point of contact through reception duties and handle enquiries from the public, parents, and partners in a friendly and professional manner. Additional tasks include ordering equipment, goods, and services, as well as supporting the induction and onboarding of new staff to contribute towards smooth service delivery.
Offer proactive, solutions-focused support to the team, service users, and members of the public, ensuring all administrative duties are completed in full compliance with relevant legislative requirements, departmental procedures, and regulations. Demonstrate initiative and adaptability in a busy environment to help meet business objectives and maintain high standards of service provision.

About the Role
Age UK Devon’s Enabling and Home Support Service aims to enable older people to make the most of later life and stay independent in their own homes.
Our dedicated Home Support Assistants work in their local communities to help older people by providing companionship and pampering, enabling support attending appointments or activities, shopping (escorted and unescorted), organising household paperwork, providing time off for carers, meal planning and preparation, light cleaning and household, and help with basic pet care.
You will be joining a friendly team with supportive management who provide in house training and development to support you in your role. Your Day-to-Day

We are looking for people to join our supported living service in Hackney, providing support for autistic young adults and learning disabilities, to transition them into adulthood and independence while living in their own flat.
This is a hands-on role where you will spend your time supporting people with everyday life activities, from developing essential life skills and accessing the community, to personal care and wellbeing.
No previous professional care experience is required. If you have personal experience of care or simply a strong desire to support others, we’ll provide you with training, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). If you hold a current driving licence, this would be an advantage.

Derbyshire Mind’s Crisis Support Drop-In Services are friendly & supportive non-clinical crisis services for adults who self-define as needing immediate help with their mental health or emotional wellbeing. Located in Buxton, Ripley and Swadlincote, the services offer out-of-hours mental health help, support and signposting in a relaxed and comfortable community environment. The services will be open on Friday evenings, Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons, all year round.
We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and resilient mental health support workers to join our friendly supportive team and to help deliver this vital service to local people. This will include providing support to people who may be experiencing, or may otherwise experience, a mental health crisis. This includes offering a listening ear along with structured support to develop a wellbeing plan and signposting advice.
The Role
Role: Support Worker: Swadlincote Crisis Support Drop-In service
Hours: Part time: 51.5 hours over 6-week rota. ‘Week on-Week off’
Salary: £23,555 p/a, pro rata. Actual salary for these part-time hours equates to £5,464.70 p/a.
Contract: Fixed term contract until end of March 2026, with potential for ongoing contract extensions.
Location: Swadlincote
Job Purpose: The Support Worker role is to be a key member of the team delivering the Swadlincote Crisis Support Drop-In service on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, alongside Peer Support Volunteers. Support Workers are responsible for providing on-to-one and group support to attendees in an empathetic, non-judgemental, person-centred manner. Support Workers will also share the role of Shift Leader each week.
Please note, these roles will be based at Swadlincote, Ripley and Buxton, however CSDI Support Workers are employed on a “flexible by location” basis, so the ability to travel to and from other sites is essential for this role.
Working Pattern: Worked over Friday evenings, Saturday evenings, and Sunday afternoons, on a ‘week on-week off’ basis. (See example rotas included at the end of the Job Description and Person Specification document for more detail on weekly hours) Flexible working required according to the service needs and the need to cover any gaps in the rota. Service runs year-round so the rota will include public holiday working.

We are looking to grow our team of dedicated, caring, enthusiastic and friendly support workers to work with three ladies in the Bedlington and Ashington areas.
We support two ladies with learning disabilities who share a bungalow in Bedlington. One lady requires a lot of personal care support, while the other requires minimum amount. They both receive 1:1 support therefore for the majority of each day there are two staff members on shift. From 8pm each night there is one person on shift which includes sleep over support. Each of these ladies have their own different hobbies. Both ladies like to access the local community on a daily basis and go out for tea and coffee. One lady loves to collect items and enjoys annual holidays in the UK.
We also provide enabling support (25 hours per week) for one lady who lives in Ashington. We support her with her finances, help with weekly shopping, meal planning and cooking. One lady loves shopping, visiting charity shops and socialising.
What we're looking for:
· A genuine passion for supporting others.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
