As he settles into his new home, maintaining familiar routines and providing consistent support will be essential to help him feel comfortable and secure.

David also experienced significant trauma in childhood after entering the care system as a very young child. David can be anxious however it helps if he has people around him who he can build a trusting relationship with.

A typical day could be supporting Ben with personal tasks within his home, maintaining his house and garden, going for a walk in the countryside or going for a leisurely drive. Ben also loves to spend time with his family who he is very close to.
For Ben, structure and routine is important - it would be beneficial if you have an understanding of Autism. Ben likes his team to be calm and it's preferable that they enjoy the same activities that he does. He also likes people around him who have a good sense of humour.
Ben is non-verbal and relies on visual aids to communicate his needs and wishes.
It's not always possible for Ben to enjoy what many people would consider ‘simple pleasures’ without proper, dedicated support.
