Project Manager (International Partnerships)
Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is one of the world’s leading conservatoires, renowned for its forward focus and innovative programmes. We don’t just train our graduates for a career in dance or music – we inspire them to define their art forms.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Student Recruitment and International Relations team to lead on the coordination and development of the newly approved Joint Education Institute (JEI) with Beijing Dance Academy (BDA) in China. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in delivering a major strategic initiative for Trinity Laban, with the first set of pilot programmes scheduled to launch in September 2027.
Reporting to the Head of Student Recruitment and International Relations, the main remit of the post is to ensure successful planning and development of the JEI project. This will include supporting curriculum development and programme organisation, managing operational planning and compliance across quality assurance, finance, legal and People & OD areas, and providing specialist support to colleagues at both Trinity Laban and BDA. The postholder will bring strong project management expertise, a high level of cultural awareness and the ability to proactively problem-solve to ensure effective and timely delivery.
You will work closely with colleagues in Corporate Affairs, Registry, Artistic Management, Finance, People & OD and other services across Trinity Laban. You will also build excellent working relationships and collaborate extensively with colleagues at BDA and other external stakeholders to develop a mutually beneficial partnership and ensure successful delivery of the JEI project. Responsibilities will include delivering day-to-day project administration, coordinating and supporting project working groups, producing project documentation, and identifying and mitigating project risks. You will contribute to programme development and support the Deputy Director and the Associate Director (Dance) with validation and governance processes, and act as a secretary to relevant committees and advisory groups.
Educated to degree level, you will be experienced in carrying out international projects or programme management/ administration role in higher education, along with strong understanding of UK-China partnership development within higher education. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to represent the Conservatoire confidently to a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leaders and government or embassy officials. Ability to communicate in Mandarin would be highly desirable. Please note that the role will involve significant international travel.

The team consists of up to 2000 people, including around 200 employees at our Cat centres and up to 3000 volunteers
What we’re looking for in our Regional Community Operations Manager:
Significant operational leadership experience within the charity, public, or community‑based service sector
A confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders
Experience managing and delivering complex community‑based services or projects at a regional or local level
Proven line‑management experience of dispersed teams in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment

About the Role
We have a "Home Manager" opportunity to cover 9 - 12 months Maternity Leave at our Children's Residential Home in Walsall Wood.
You will be managing our 9 Bedded home that supports children and young people age 4 - 18 yrs with severe and complex care needs, Acquired Brain Injury, complex learning disabilities and associated behavioural challenges. Managing the health needs of the children forms a significant part of the service that we provide and are firmly committed to meeting the very unique and individual health care needs of our children.

Key Responsibilities
To ensure that all children and young people have their needs met and their welfare promoted at all times.
To be responsible for the development, Leadership, coordination and support of the staff group.
To supervise the Team Leaders, enabling them to supervise and support the staff team.
To be responsible for all aspects of budgetary control relating to the home.
To ensure that effective records are maintained in accordance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and associated Regulations and Standards
To be responsible for ensuring that effective rotas are prepared and followed.
To be the lead for the on-call rota as and when required.
To work in conjunction with the Operations and Recruitment Manager to ensure staffing levels are maintained at all times in line with safer recruitment and Ofsted requirements.
To be responsible for coordinating referrals for the home and responding flexibly to requests for service, within the context of individual agreements and the home’s Statement of Purpose.
To Work effectively with Commissioning Partners, Police, LSCB, Public Health and Ofsted etc.
Qualifications Required:
Driving

Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or
equivalent qualification)
Experience:
A minimum
of 5 years’ experience of working with children and young people
A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working with children and young people in a
senior role

We are currently recruiting a Programmes Manager for West Africa (Senegal, The Gambia, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau) to be responsible for managing complex projects connected to large donors against specific work plans / log frames and ensuring the flow of information to development and broader organisational reporting.
You will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution and evaluation of the West Africa programme and related initiatives, whilst providing a broad range of support to other countries in the region, to monitor and promote the effective delivery of our programme. Reporting to the Regional Director - West Africa, this is a full-time role based in Blue Ventures’ regional hub in Dakar with occasional travel within Senegal and the wider region to work closely with colleagues, partners, field teams and communities.
The successful candidate will be a motivated, proactive and highly organised individual, with a proven track record of grant, project and/or programme, people management, and exceptional written communications. Ideally, you will have experience of international conservation NGOs, monitoring and evaluation and a range of international funders, including institutional ones.
We are looking for an individual who is open to new ideas and embraces innovation, who can demonstrate experience of building effective working partnerships, systems and processes. Assessment of applications will include candidates’ alignment with BV’s core values and mission to support human rights-based approaches to marine conservation and fisheries management.
