Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic ETE Officer to deliver an inclusive, youth-focused employment hub supporting young people aged 16-24 across Croydon, Lambeth and Bromley. You will provide 1:1 mentoring, employability support and practical guidance to young people facing barriers to work, including those experiencing poor mental health, housing instability, or other complex needs. Working closely with DWP Work Coaches, employers and local partners, you will support young people with moving towards employment, training or meaningful progression.

Job Description
As ETE Officer you will:

Hold a caseload of young people aged 16-24, providing weekly face-to-face mentoring and flexible drop-in support;

Carry out initial 1:1 diagnostic assessments to identify strengths, goals, barriers and wider support needs, co-designing personalised action plans with young people focused on ETE and personal development;

Support young people with CV writing, job applications and interview preparation;

Deliver workplace readiness and life skills sessions;

Work collaboratively with DWP staff co-located in the hub to ensure coordinated, person-centred support;

Liaise with employers and partners to access work experience, volunteering and training opportunities;

Support delivery of workshops, group sessions and holiday activities where required.
Person Specification
As successful candidate you will have:

A passion for transforming the lives of young people, particularly those facing barriers such as unemployment, low confidence or complex life circumstances;

Experience in managing a caseload of 'NEET' young people and delivering 1:1 youth support;

Ideally a relevant qualification at Level 2 or above, e.g. Youth Work, IAG, mentoring or another related field;

Excellent facilitation skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with young people and partner organisations;

A good understanding of issues affecting young people, including mental health, housing insecurity and other barriers to employment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Registry team at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC). Founded in 1791 the RVC is one of the largest and longest established veterinary schools in the world. The RVC offers outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, and biomedical sciences and carries out world class veterinary and bioscience research ranging from the molecular level through whole animal to population-based studies.
The successful candidate will work within the Student Resolution and Compliance (SRC) Team to deliver administrative casework support. This is a varied role which will encompass support across all SRC procedures, with a primary focus on Academic Conduct, Misconduct and Final Formal Review.
The post holder will be responsible for the administrative tasks related to the successful coordination of casework. This includes responsibility for tracking and recording case progression, convening panels and minute taking.
The post holder will work with the Student Resolution and Compliance (Casework) Manager to enhance service delivery within SRC by supporting wider projects, such as the delivery of staff training on SRC procedures.
The post holder will be a key member of the Academic Registry team. They will be a highly motivated and adaptable team player, capable of working independently and keen to develop themselves in this role. They will need to be confident and competent at liaising with all levels of staff within the RVC.
Excellent organisational, interpersonal skills and competency in service delivery are essential. To fulfil this role, you should have a keen eye for detail.

Green Lane Masjid & Community Centre (GLMCC) seeks to appoint a Weekend Imam and Qur’an Teacher to take a supporting role in the Centre’s religious and educational activities. Main Duties:
The direct work with children and young people follows a general pattern that must be tailored to the needs and requirements for each individual. This pattern involves 3 main areas.

- Have direct responsibility for the care and development of a number of children and young people. Each child or young person will have a placement programme involving social and educational targets, which will be regularly reviewed.
- Require to liaise with all relevant members of the multi-disciplinary team within Kibble to ensure a mutual understanding of these targets and to monitor and facilitate their achievement.
- Require to liaise with the area team social worker to ensure that there is both a mutual understanding of the care plan including social and educational targets and a linkage between these targets and the tasks being undertaken by the social worker.
- Meet with the parent(s) or other relative(s) of the child or young person to ensure that family contact is continuing, to seek their co-operation in achieving social and educational targets, to ensure that home leave is viable and is supported.
