Indus Health Network UK, registered with the Charity Commission (1194571), raises awareness of the Indus Hospital & Health Network's contributions in Pakistan. It works with local leaders, corporates, businesses, and supporters to organize fundraising drives, mobilize volunteers, promote community initiatives, and raise donations for healthcare infrastructure, prevention, and treatment. IHN UK supports IHHN for the provision of free-of-cost, quality healthcare irrespective of age, gender, religion, race, and financial status.
IHN UK is seeking an energetic individual to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have a passion for making a difference in the lives of impoverished communities, be willing to go the extra mile, and possess a creative mindset to generate innovative fundraising and communication ideas. This role will involve travel within the UK and participation in various challenges and community events.
Fundraising Support:
- Assist with the planning and delivery of all fundraising events and activities.
- Maintain supplies of fundraising and marketing materials.
- Produce detailed end-of-campaign reports to ensure all important information is documented for future use.
First Point of Contact:
- Handle general enquiries through telephone, letter, email, and social media.
- Conduct engagement calls to thank, inspire, and enhance the supporter journey.
Data & Donation Management:
- Create and update supporter records accurately on the fundraising CRM.
- Take donations over the phone and accurately update the CRM.
- Produce periodic donation reports and analysis for senior management.
Post Event Support:
- Log all information from donation forms to the CRM, deposit collected funds promptly, and generate acknowledgements.
- Follow up on donation pledges and create timelines.
Content Production:
- Produce and assess written and verbal responses, ensuring messages are inspiring and engaging.
- Help produce and update the charity website, social media channels and newsletters.
Volunteer Support:
- Assist with tasks related to recruiting, training, and managing community fundraising volunteers.
Promote Gift Aid:
- Maximise opportunities to promote Gift Aid and contact preferences, sharing the impact of the charity.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Gift Aid, data consent, data protection regulations, and other policies.
Ad Hoc Duties:
- Perform other tasks as directed by senior management.
- Follow all service standards, policies, and procedures of the charity.
- Ensure client information remains confidential and comply with data protection regulations.
- Take responsibility for personal learning/development and support others' growth.
- Organise workload effectively, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Educated to degree level (or relevant experience as a valid alternative).
- Willingness to take ownership of administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of marketing, event management, fundraising and charity sector desirable.
- Legal right to live and work in the UK.
- Ability to understand and speak Urdu is desired.

We pray for a Priest in Charge with a heart for mission in Plympton. The two parishes span a large area to the east of Plymouth encompassing communities with differing identities. We have a strong team to support you, including a Team Vicar, SSOM, PTOs, full PCCs and lay leaders, including LLMs and a Team Administrator. The vicarage is well-positioned offering four bedrooms and comfortable living space.

The Role:
Join our dedicated team as a Lifeguard on a temporary basis for a period of 6-months at Xcite Linlithgow where safety, fun, and customer service are our top priorities. We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our members and visitors. If you have a passion for helping others and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect job for you! Applicants should ideally hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) but full training could be provided to candidates who demonstrate the right attributes, have a responsible diligent nature with a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Keep a watchful eye on swimmers by patrolling the poolside or supervising from a lifeguard chair
- Encourage safe behaviour and step in if something looks unsafe
- Act quickly and calmly in emergencies, carrying out rescues when needed
- Provide first aid and support to customers if required
- Help keep the pool and surrounding areas clean, safe, and welcoming
- Set up and pack away pool equipment such as lane ropes and diving blocks
- Carry out regular water tests, including pH and chlorine checks
- Offer a friendly, helpful service to all customers and deal with any concerns politely
- Take bookings and process cash and card payments accurately
- Promote activities, products, and services to visitors
- Help with basic admin tasks to support programmes and daily operations
- Attend regular training sessions to keep skills and NPLQ up to date
- Support other areas, including reception, when required
- A current NPLQ qualification(or willingness to achieve and maintain it)
- A positive, approachable attitude and good communication skills
- The ability to stay calm under pressure
- Reliability, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility

Volunteering with Landmark
Landmark has occasional volunteer opportunities usually based locally at specific Landmarks. Any opportunities will be posted here as they arise. We are not able to offer volunteering roles to speculative enquiries.

Goddards Volunteer Gardener
We are looking for a green fingered volunteer to work alongside the gardener to maintain the Landmark Trust’s Goddards’ garden at Abinger Common which was designed in 1900 by Gertrude Jekyll in association with Edwin Lutyens.
1 or 2 mornings a week (Monday and/or Friday)
To assist with:
• General maintenance of flower beds
• Dividing plants and taking cuttings
• Watering, weeding, pruning and planting as needed
• Clearing leaves and edging lawns and paths
