The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an organised and proactive Education and Professional Development Administrator to provide essential administrative support for the development, delivery and evaluation of educational and professional development resources for paediatricians and healthcare professionals.
Reporting to the Education and Professional Development Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our education services. From handling enquiries and coordinating meetings to supporting online and face-to-face courses, your work will help deliver high-quality learning experiences that make a real difference to child health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative supportfor Education and Professional Development (EPD) services, including managing feedback processes, updating contact databases, compiling usage reports and maintaining filing systems.
- Administering online learning systems, such as ePortfolio, learning management systems and website content management systems.
- Processing financial transactionsfor EPD activities, including purchase orders, invoices, card payments and expense claims; obtaining quotes from suppliers.
- Drafting documentsusing agreed templates, such as evaluation reports, minutes, eLearning reviews and course pages.
- Booking resources and facilities, including meeting rooms, catering, accommodation, travel and equipment; ensuring effective diary management.
- Handling phone and email enquiriesand directing queries to the appropriate team member.
- Coordinating and servicing meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and distributing documentation.
- Supporting the delivery of learning events, including virtual courses/webinars and face-to-face sessions.
Essential skills and experience:
- Proven administrative experience, ideally in an education or training environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and confidence using online systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Desirable:
- Experience supporting educational events or courses, including virtual delivery platforms.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and ePortfolio platforms.

HOUSE PARENT JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: HOUSE PARENT - ISS Responsible to: Welfare Manager Main Purpose: The House Parents are responsible for working closely with the Welfare Manager (and Deputy Welfare Manager) to ensure excellent standards of pastoral care for the pupils on the summer school programme. House Parents are the figurehead of the house, ensuring that all pupils enjoy a warm, welcoming, supportive atmosphere, and that the house is run smoothly to protect the safety and wellbeing of international pupils within the boarding house. Course Dates: The course in 2026 will run for 4 weeks, and we will be offering contracts of varying lengths, depending on the candidates’ availability and experience and our student numbers. All candidates must attend on-site induction prior to the start date (outlined below). If candidates have holidays, weddings, graduations etc booked, they must mention this at the interview stage. Time off for such events cannot be guaranteed otherwise. The course is run on the Senior School campus (Sedbergh), with three London trips running throughout the course. The Youth Employability Service
CXK delivers the Youth Employability Service (YES) across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. We offer information, advice, support and guidance to young people in academic years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to explore their options, plan and then take their next steps. We also work with schools supporting young people in year 11 who are at risk of becoming NEET. Liaising with a range of other services, YES is focussed on supporting young people to achieve their potential.

The YES team support young people from across the county, seeing them at CXK bases, partner venues or in community settings. The team assess and action plan with young people referred to the service, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and/ or employment. The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Support Adviser.
The Youth Support Adviser (YSA) is a key role in the Youth Employability Service, acting as the first point of contact for 16-18-year-olds who are NEET or at risk of NEET. You will support with first appointments and initial assessments of need, when young people are referred to YES, alongside supporting your caseload. Guiding them through re-engagement with suitable post-16 provisions and provide targeted intervention to those who have withdrawn from or not started their Post 16 provisions.
Working across the East of the county with schools and FE Colleges you will play a key role in ensuring that young people — receive the tailored guidance and support they need to progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. So strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

The Young Person Criminal Justice Practitioner plays a vital role in supporting young people affected by substance misuse and involvement in the Criminal Justice System. Working within Insight Lewisham, the post holder will deliver targeted, evidence-based interventions designed to reduce harm, address offending behaviour and support long-term positive change.
The role involves working across the full journey of a young person’s engagement, from assessment and risk management through to intervention, recovery planning and onward support. Main Duties
• Ensure the safe operation of group or one-on-one sessions for the entire duration that young

• Maintain the necessary qualifications and appropriate equipment for all activities you lead.
• Conduct risk assessments for all activities, continuously evaluating potential risks, including

• Provide feedback to RP School, referring agencies, parents, or carers through weekly updates

• Keep student records up to date and accessible for other staff who may need them for future

Teaching Fellow in Small Animal Primary Care

We have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Fellow in Small Animal Primary Care, within the LIVE Centre in the Department of Clinical Science and Services (CCS). We are looking to recruit a teaching fellow to contribute to the clinical teaching in the rotation phase of our undergraduate veterinary courses as well as provide small group teaching in the Principles of Veterinary Practice strand. We invite applications from individuals with expertise in small animals, and familiarity with primary care practice in the UK. The post holders should expect to develop and deliver teaching with the aim of preparing and supporting students undertaking clinical rotations and to assist in the delivery of and reflection on feedback. The role involves primary care clinical work in addition to coordination, teaching and assessment of veterinary students.
You will be based on our Hawkshead Campus but may also be asked to support teaching in other clinical facilities associated with our clinical teaching, and so should be prepared to travel. You will work closely and collaboratively with rotation leaders and other members of the clinical team to deliver the learning objectives of our primary care-focused rotations that run throughout the year. The role will involve extensive interactions with colleagues and students and require excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
We are looking to recruit veterinary surgeon (MRCVS or eligible for MRCVS) with a desire to teach in a primary care setting and contribute to the development of the next generation of veterinarians. Previous teaching and assessment experience within a clinical setting would be an advantage but is not essential.

This role focuses on providing specialised support to women who have experienced domestic abuse and are living with the impact of the trauma they have experienced. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering trauma-informed care, promoting recovery, and empowering women to rebuild their lives in a safe, supportive environment through both one to one and group interventions. Our safe accommodation service offers holistic, person-centred approaches to ensure residents feel heard, respected, and empowered. The successful applicant will embody the Pdap values and keep the client at the heart of everything they do. Key Responsibilities 1. Direct support and interventions • • • • Provide one-to-one trauma informed interventions Help women rebuild and strengthen their self-esteem and emotional wellbeing Support women in understanding the impact of domestic abuse and provide practical tools to support recovery. Facilitating Group Activities • • • Design and facilitate a regular programme of group activities aimed at building confidence, skills, and emotional wellbeing.
