We are currently seeking a Senior Domestic Abuse Practitioner to join our Domestic Abuse Services team at Waythrough.
You will be co-located within social care services, offering expert advice, guidance and intervention on complex cases where domestic abuse is a significant concern. The role combines consultation, training, and direct work with individuals using harmful behaviour, helping to reduce risk and improve outcomes for children and families.
What You’ll Do
Provide specialist consultations to professionals to support risk assessment, safety planning and decision-making
Deliver direct brief interventions with people using harmful behaviour, individually and jointly with partner professionals
Undertake home visits and joint appointments to support safe engagement with families
Design and deliver flexible training and reflective practice sessions for professionals across children’s services
Manage a caseload, assess suitability for intervention, and contribute to safe, planned multi-agency responses
Share expertise to support professionals working with resistant or reluctant individuals
Represent the service at professional forums such as MARAC and community events
Contribute to performance monitoring, data collection and service development
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:
Experience working within a domestic abuse setting or related service
Experience working with individuals and/or families affected by or using domestic abuse
A strong understanding of domestic abuse, child abuse, trauma and safeguarding procedures
Experience delivering direct work with people using harmful behaviour and managing challenging engagement
Confidence working autonomously while collaborating effectively with partner agencies
Excellent communication skills, including producing clear, professional written consultations
The ability to manage workload and administrative responsibilities independently
You will also demonstrate sound professional judgement, particularly around risk management, escalation and advising professionals in complex cases.

Housing First Anglesey helps homeless people to find a permanent home quickly, providing ongoing support to help them settle in and maintain their new home. The project provides an intensive support package to actively address issues in a creative and innovative way.
Purpose of Role
Responsibility for coordinating and providing a flexible person centred, solution focused service, applying an assertive engagement and positive risk-taking approach, in line with Housing First principles. Within legal, moral and ethical boundaries, Housing First provision focuses on the long-term goal of creating sustainable tenancies and maximising connectivity with the local community. This role will work in an outreach capacity with those clients who may primarily need support with their mental health, enabling clients to access the services and interventions they need to build their resilience, gain confidence, reduce harm and acquire the personal and social skills they need to meet their aspirations.
This post will work specifically with Service Users whose lead support need is Mental Health, which may be accompanied by other complex needs.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the new Adult and Children counselling team specialising in counselling survivors of domestic abuse, with a trauma-informed approach. The contract is based in North Somerset working with all people within the community.
Main responsibilities
The Play Therapist will deliver trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate play and creative therapy to children from birth, children and young people, and young adults up to 25 with additional needs, referred by partner agencies for those impacted by domestic abuse. The role focuses on early intervention, attachment, emotional wellbeing, recovery and resilience, working closely with parents/carers and multi-agency professionals.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about addressing violence against girls and women and are committed to intersectional work. Our play therapists should excel in managing clinical risks, conducting assessments, and handling confidential information with sensitivity.There will be 3 hours per month of paid clinical supervision plus line management supervision with the Clinical Service Manager.

• You will be a qualified and registered Play Therapist with experience of working with infants, children and young people, including those with additional or complex needs.
• You will be confident working with families affected by domestic abuse, able to build safe therapeutic relationships, manage clinical risk and contribute positively to a trauma-informed service.
• You will be client-centred, reflective in practice and committed to equality of access, dignity and inclusion for all service users.
• You will be an accredited by BAPT or PTUK.
• You will bring experience of managing complex interventions and service models focused on trauma and promoting resilience.

The parish of Biggin Hill (pop. 12,018) is a small town - still referred to by many residents as a 'village' - on the edge of the London Borough of Bromley. It is mainly residential and surrounded by beautiful, open countryside, yet sits within just a few miles of the M25.
The Living is currently suspended to allow for the possibility of future pastoral reorganisation, but the hope is that our new priest will guide the parish towards achieving its full potential and the suspension being lifted.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A prayerful and practical leader, keen to develop the prayer life of the congregation;
- Able to work collaboratively with our enthusiastic ministry team, and have experience enabling others in their discipleship;
- Comfortable leading a wide range of worship styles;
- Creative in extending the use of our church space and facilities;
- Willing to work with a team to establish a Youth Group.
St Mark's Church was dedicated in 1959 and is Grade II Listed. A complete refurbishment of the lighting has recently been completed, enabling a range of lighting arrangements for traditional worship, concerts and other community events. The modern audio-visual system enables Parish Communion services to be live-streamed and recorded, which is very popular.
The Church Hall complex is very well used by a number of local organisations, with a large hall, separate lounge, well-equipped kitchen, meeting room and office.
The adjacent Vicarage is a 4-bedroom family home with a separate study, double garage and good-sized garden providing private and well-screened accommodation.
Sunday Worship takes place at 10.30am, with an All-Age Family Service on the first Sunday and Parish Communion services on other Sundays (USA 50-55). Worship is supported by a choir and band or keyboard player with a mix of hymns and songs. A said Midweek Communion takes place on a Wednesday morning (USA 12). Biggin Hill is renowned for its contribution to WWII when the RAF base within the parish played a key role in defence of Britain. Our priest also acts as Chaplain to St George's RAF Memorial Chapel, taking one service per month in the Chapel as well as supporting and working alongside their ministry team.
You will be supported by an enthusiastic and experienced PCC, a part-time paid Administrator, an LLM-in-training, a Pastoral Visiting Team, and a large number of volunteers who all play a part in regularly organising and planning church activities and outreach (including five who have completed the Hearing and Speaking God's Word course and able to lead worship and/or preach).
