Purpose of job:
At Comic Relief, we harness the power of entertainment and pop culture to create a just world free from poverty. And, as our Fundraising Marketing Manager, you’ll contribute to this by developing brilliant marketing strategies and fundraising toolkits for multiple fundraising campaigns.
You’ll identify ways in which we can use powerful stories and integrate our content and communications to maximize impact across difference audiences. You’ll also lead on awareness generating activity to fill the top of the funnel, and ultimately leading supporters to donations and other activations. You’ll balance data and creativity in equal measure; you’ll think strategically, act tactically and you’ll be a natural collaborator, informing and delivery to ultimately drive joyful generosity.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the development of marketing plans to support fundraising campaign strategies and objectives that support fundraising income generation. This may include for example working with internal and/ or external teams to create:
o Creative campaign propositions/ strategic approaches to fundraising campaigns
o Look and feel guidance
o Campaign Proposition Guidance (Songsheet), including headline messaging approaches Hero campaign assets such as advertising asset concepts or marketing photography shoots.
o Developing money buys and identifying suitable stories to enable and facilite powerful impact led storytelling.

Work with the Senior Fundraising Marketing Manager to develop campaign and marketing activity briefs for delivery teams and external agencies.

Specify how marketing activities for campaigns will contribute to, and help achieve, fundraising goals. Specify key channels and tactics to consider for driving awareness and moving audiences through stages of engagement towards conversion and ultimately donating, whilst also ensuring CR comms content/ activity is consistent, strategically aligned and focussed.
Work with digital fundraising experts (for example in paid media) and delivery experts (for example in content production or third parties) to implement the agreed plan and ensure that it activity is aligned and integrated. This may include
o The management of BBC Marketing Campaigns with BBC Marketing and BBC Creative
o Day to day management of campaign creative agencies.
o Working with internal or external creatives on delivering top of the funnel assets for paid media and other channels.

Working with the corporate partnerships and new business teams to introduce creative campaign propositions to new and existing corporate partners with the goal of achieving wider integration and alignment across campaigns to achieve enhanced conversion and income generation.

Overseeing the communications calendar and supporting integration and alignment of communications

Playing an active part in the success of our fundraising and engagement strategy by contributing to the development of team wide annual plans and budgets, using learnings and insight to make recommendations to facilitate growth

Proactively participating in and leading aspects of wider team planning activities.

Keeping abreast of the fundraising marketplace and wider legislative and regulatory landscape to ensure Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns and activities are compliant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Focus on both existing and new funding, developing a pipeline of new opportunities and relationships and reporting on prospects and outcomes to management and trustees.

Lead the diversification of Advance’s income stream, including unrestricted funds, a key strategic objective for the organisation, thinking outside of the box when it comes to potential funders and delivering innovative fundraising plans.

Work closely with Advance staff to gain information (inputs, activities, outputs) and evidence (statistics, testimonials and case studies) that can be included in proposals and utilise this data to craft compelling copy for a range of applications to external funders.

This is a one-year role as part of providing maternity cover for our Senior Worship Pastor. However, we’re a growing church with hopes to plant in the coming year, so there’s a strong possibility of future opportunities beyond this initial term.
We’re open to applicants with a range of experience – from those with a couple of years in worship ministry to seasoned senior leaders who have overseen large worship departments. The role, salary, and level of management will be tailored to your experience. This is a full-time position, and you’ll need to be available to work on weekends and evenings, especially Sundays.

We are seeking a Global People Capability and Culture Officer to start as soon as possible on a fixed term contract until January 2027 (maternity cover).
The successful candidate for this role must be based in and with a right to work in either the UK, Germany, Iraq or Nigeria

The Global People, Capability and Culture (PCC) Systems Officer is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's human resource information systems (HRIS) on a global scale. This role involves ensuring the effective use of PCC technology, improving PCC processes, and providing analytical insights to support strategic decision-making.
The officer will work closely with PCC teams, IT department, and external vendors to enhance system functionality, user experience, and data integrity. The Global PCC Systems Officer will have sharp problem-solving and communication skills to undertake a variety of PCC technology systems support for Global PCC projects. You will be part of a hard-working PCC team working across the landscape of People, Capability and Culture functions focusing on the systems component of the full employee lifecycle etc.
Key Responsibilities
HRIS Management
- The position is responsible for interfacing and problem-solving with employees and providing guidance on all our PCC systems.
- This role covers a variety of support functions in keeping with proper PCC systems functioning, organizational policy and procedures and standard methodologies.
- This position will be the first line of support to answer general employee questions related to policies/ policy interpretation, and troubleshooting on PCC systems support.

Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of global HRIS:
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all HR systems
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and overall system performance.
- Project Management: Lead global initiatives such as the Global Employee Engagement Survey, Performance Review Cycles, Staff Development.
- Systems Management: Maintain all PCC Systems with accurate up to date information, conduct audits, roll out system features globally, lead system optimization projects.
- Assist with maintenance of job postings system of Pinpoint, and how the system supports well on process flow on prescreening candidates and interview process.
- Create an online positive onboarding experience for new employees which involves system related coordination of employee onboarding with departments.
- Ensure that our systems can support employee offboarding process as appropriate and provide summary feedback as necessary on employe experience as relates to systems use.
- Administer Global Rewards and Recognition Program. Co-lead other engaging employee programs with the Global PCC team.
- Administer all employment changes to HRIS and Payroll directly through the system or manually, depending on the circumstance (process promotions, departures, and other staffing changes).
- Assist PCC team with ad-hoc reporting, special projects and programs as requested.
User Support and Training
- Provide technical support and training to HR staff and end-users.
- Troubleshoot system issues and resolve user queries promptly.
- Conduct regular training sessions and update materials as needed. Trainings will relate but are not limited to staff development, recruitment, PCC systems platform utilization, etc.
- Collaborate with PCC peers and colleagues to ensure uniform PCC support and customer service on PCC IT systems.
- Find opportunities to streamline processes, build efficiencies and improve overall systems productivity.
Vendor Management
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure PCC high-quality system performance.
- Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and vendor systems support.
Policy Support
- Contribute to the review of existing policies relating to PCC systems, support with the development of new policies and procedures, and liaise with Global PCC team to implement policies and support with the interpretation and rollout activities for staff.
