We are looking for a compassionate, reliable Personal Care Assistant to support a kind and friendly 7-year-old child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

About the role
National Star has a fantastic new opportunity for a Night Lead Facilitator. The Night Lead Facilitator will support the Residential Deputy Night Manager in the successful running of all the residences on campus during the night by ensuring that the highest standards of care are provided to the service users, as well as ensuring the optimum health and wellbeing of service users at all times
This role will be to supervise colleagues and support service users in their residential setting during the night. It is a fast-paced role with a high level of responsibility and will include working alongside other care professionals.
Some responsibilities will include;
Work with Residential Deputy Night Manager to provide support and care to the service users of National Star to help them make the most of their time at National Star and live life as independently as possible.
Work with individuals with complex physical and learning disabilities and those displaying challenging behaviours effectively, ensuring their safety as well as the safety of yourself and others.
To be awake, alert and active at all times during the night shift, it is NOT permitted to sleep during breaks.
Staff management, Shift handovers, Allocation management, Sickness management, including covering shifts and holding and recording return to work conversations. Ensuring team members are working efficiently and effectively taking into account service user night requirements whilst adhering to staffing budgets. Managing staff breaks, Undertake Care Audits on colleagues. Deliver all aspects of personal care during the night to our service users in accordance with National Star standards and individual care plans. To include, Washing, Dressing, Maintaining personal appearance, Toileting & continence support, Mouth, nail, and foot care.
You will be a strong leader and hold a minimum qualification of Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
The role is a permanent role, full time (37hrs weekly) all year round.

About the Drive Project (Bradford)
The Drive Project is not a pilot or test programme, It is a well-established national model, currently being rolled out across England, reflecting sustained national commitment to coordinated, whole-system responses to domestic abuse. In Bradford, the service is being delivered by The Bridge Project in partnership with the Drive Central Team and West Yorkshire Combined Authority and will be fully embedded within local safeguarding and partnership arrangements from the outset.
The Drive Project works with individuals who pose the highest risk of causing serious harm within intimate or family relationships. The programme combines intensive individual case management with a coordinated multi-agency response, creating the conditions for accountability, behaviour change and sustained risk reduction, while keeping victim and survivor safety at the centre of all activity.
The Bradford Drive service will be delivered by a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team, and we are recruiting to all posts comprising of:
- 1 Service Manager (full time),providing operational leadership, safeguarding oversight, model fidelity and day-to-day supervision and management of the service
- 4 full time Case Managers, working directly with individuals who cause harm to challenge abusive behaviour, promote responsibility, and sustain engagement over time
- 2 full time Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs), providing specialist, victim-centred advocacy, safety planning and risk management; IDVAs receive additional external clinical supervision alongside in-house specialist support
- 1 full time Panel Coordinator, responsible for managing the Drive Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Panel, including intelligence flow, action tracking and multi-agency coordination
The team will operate with fidelity to the Drive model, a trauma-informed, strengths-based framework, balancing challenge and accountability with engagement and support. Staff will work closely a range of systems and service such as police, probation, children’s and adult safeguarding, housing, health and specialist adult and child domestic abuse services to ensure a coordinated and effective response to high-risk harm and victim/ survivor safety.
Funding and Retention
The Drive Programme is currently funded through a Home Office national programme. While funding beyond March 2027 remains subject to government spending reviews and funding cycles, Drive is a well-established, evidence-based model that is currently under national roll-out, reflecting continued national prioritisation of whole-system responses to high-harm domestic abuse.

Position Summary
You will work as part of the nursing team supporting life-limited and life-threatened children and their families within Kites Corner.
As a Heath Care Assistant you will be expected to work under the direction of a respite nurse/senior respite nurse and in partnership with the child and family. Position: MEAL Officer
Key Responsibilities:Job Responsibility # 1:
Designing, Strengthening and management of MEAL system # Time 25%. • Support in designing, improvement, and operationalization of the MEAL system. • Support in setting up a MEAL System incorporating MEAL standards and guidelines including Oxfam Program Quality Standards. • Promote the awareness and understanding of the shared responsibility of MEAL function among all staff members through communication, training, learning and development activities organization wide. • Develop baseline and end-line assessment tools and methodologies for response project, including data collection instruments (e.g. survey questionnaires, focus group discussions, and key informant interviews), analysis plans and analytical reports. • Support partners in designing of monitoring systems, and that data collection and analysis. • Design and manage the databases with Information Management Officer to ensures the availability of all required information based on program/project performance indicators. • Independently develop MEAL plans and review/update on a regular basis, in close coordination with sectoral teams and Oxfam’s partners. • Work with the projects teams in implementing MEAL frameworks, processes, and tools, ensuring quality and consistency with Oxfam standards. The University of Glasgow School of Law seeks to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Corporate and Financial Law (Research & Teaching Track).
The successful applicant will work closely within a vibrant and substantial community of corporate researchers and be part of the Corporate and Financial Law Research Group. In addition to the well-established interest in capital markets, financial regulation, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility, law and sustainable finance has emerged as a key focus in recent years, while we have also extended our expertise in insurance and insolvency. We have immediate teaching needs in corporate governance, capital markets and financial law and there are also opportunities to adapt and expand our course offers to suit the successful candidate. Job Purpose
The post holder will make a substantial and positive contribution to the strategic direction of the School/College through leading and contributing to research of international standard, high quality teaching, primarily at undergraduate level, securing research funding, and providing academic leadership and management within the School/College. It was originally founded in 1428 and re-founded in 1542. Although we are proud of our history, we are a thoroughly modern and forward-looking College.
