We are looking for Bank Supported Housing Support Workers to join our Our 16+ Older Looked After Young People (OLYP), Care Leavers and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) services. Our OLYP services delivers specialist 24-hour supported accommodation where young people are supported to acquire the necessary skills in preparation for living independently, safely explore their increased freedom of choice and develop responsibilities associated with adulthood, whilst still having the appropriate level of support from an experienced team.
We adopt a trauma informed and psychologically informed approach to supporting our residents to help them build essential life skills, identify their goals and support residents into independent accommodation. We have a dedicated team of Support Workers, Night Workers and additional Bank Workers who provide support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building
Our Bank Support Worker roles are similar to our Support Workers roles, but they work on a more flexible, temporary basis – they are great way into the organisation and can be a stepping stone into other roles.
In this rewarding role you will work proactively and creatively alongside young people providing support, guidance, and signposting around areas such as housing, budgeting, living skills, jobs and relationship building. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the services by providing consistency and reliability.
You will ideally have experience of working with a similar client group and a good understanding of the key risks, challenges and opportunities for young people.

The Vacancy
You'll be working at East Boro Housing, Care and Support Trust, as part of the Aster Group. As an overnight on-site Support Worker, you’ll help to provide a secure, happy and supportive environment within Cranford Avenue in Weymouth. You’ll live on site as a sleep in Support Worker, where 8 of our service users reside, ensuring an environment that is clean, tidy, warm and inviting.
As a Night Support Worker and premise Caretaker, you will work from 10pm to 8.30am 5 nights per week.
This is a sleep in role where you will be sleeping in your own flat providing on call service to 8 residents in Cranford Ave for 5 nights a week for £30.00 per sleeping night. The flat is attached to Cranford Avenue, as part of the tied accommodation. This is tied accommodation where rent is payable at a discounted rate and will be discussed in more detail at interview.

The quality of our amazing grounds and buildings are a key part of the experience of our guests – and the skills, care and attention to detail that our maintenance team show in keeping the grounds and buildings looking great, working smoothly and meeting safety standards are central to this.
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to help oversee and deliver all aspects of buildings and grounds maintenance at our 65 bed / 20 acre residential adventure centre, and help develop and lead our maintenance team. As a Christian, you will be a role-model for the maintenance team and wider centre staff, having a discipling and mentoring input into their lives.
You will have the opportunity to get involved in the wider ministry of the centre, including our evening sessions with kids, and ministry teams serving on one of our event weeks and weekends (e.g. playing music, organising games / sport, etc).

KEY ROLES

- Help ensure high standards of health and safety in the team / work place.

The Role
We are looking to recruit a Casual - Cleaning Operative to work at the Whitegate Drive Health Centre in Blackpool.
Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, you will work individually or as part of a team to undertake the cleaning of designated areas within the property and to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic environment.
You duties will include but not be limited to:
- Cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying of litter bin, polishing and dusting of the designated areas (which may include toilets and shower areas), and fixture and fittings, using where appropriate, powered equipment.
- The movement of items of furniture.
- All duties must be carried out to comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act; statutory and company instruction and regulation and any other legal requirements.
- To relieve and assist in other establishments in certain circumstances.
- To attend and take all necessary action, statutory and otherwise in the event of accident, fire, loss, theft, lost property, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and complete the necessary return and/or reports.
- To attend meetings as requested.
- Duties may vary dependant on the requirement to cover in times of staff absence.

The difference you will make as a Gas Inspector - Property Services
You will inspect work undertaken by contractors, field communal heating team, including gas engineers, HIU Engineers and associated trades. The primary purpose is to verify that all works meet statutory regulations and Riverside’s quality standards, safeguarding our residents and properties.

Role Profile
Working as part of Riverside’s Property Services team, you will provide expert oversight of gas safety practices and drive continuous improvement. You will identify issues, recommend solutions, and support best practices in gas maintenance. By proactively monitoring compliance and quality, you help maintain 100% gas safety certification compliance and uphold Riverside’s commitment to safe, customer-focused housing services.
Your role will be essential in implementing robust quality control measures, ensuring that gas servicing, repairs, and installations are carried out effectively, meeting both regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
You will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service performance and implement best practices across all gas-related works. Your ability to assess risks, manage priorities, and deliver exceptional service will directly contribute to Riverside’s commitment to providing safe, efficient, and customer-focused housing services.

We are looking for someone to join our excellent team on an ad-hoc basis to support a 10 year-old with learning disabilities and provide occasional support for his 6 year old younger brother (who does not have a learning disability).
This is an excellent opportunity to work on an interdisciplinary Early Intensive Behavioural Intervention Team (including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and physiotherapy). The main part of the post is to support a young 10-year-old boy to pursue his hobbies/interests and provide support with learning and communication through play therapy. Direction will be given by parents and full training will be provided on the job.
Applicant will support child using different learning strategies and communication devices (proloquo2go). Opportunities will also be provided to develop skills in using a range of different tools and techniques.
- Duties will include supporting the individual to undertake a variety of social, learning, toileting and physio activities. You may very occasional be asked to carry out light domestic duties, such as tidying toys and tidying 10 year old’s bedroom.
- Experience of working with children with learning difficulties would be beneficial. Although you will be working with various professionals, you will report directly to parents and have weekly updates on progress.
- The post holder will also be expected to support with personal care.
This post is suited to someone that is reliable, kind, uses initiative and is trustworthy and willing to learn on the job. We looking for someone who is flexible – but at the same time we work with you around your schedule.
Working hours are Wednesday 3.15pm – 6pm and Friday 12.45pm – 6pm.
