- The Role

Phoenix Futures is looking to recruit an organised and efficient Administrator for our Derbyshire Recovery Partnership service to work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours per week, based in our Swadlincote office.
The Role
This fantastic opportunity will involve providing administrative support to the Swadlincote team and you will also be part of the service's admin team of five, where each of you has a leading role on a specific area of interest, which may include data, finance, safeguarding, criminal justice, health and safety, ordering of supplies. Day to day this role involves covering our Swadlincote reception, acting as a single point of contact for enquiries from other professionals and agencies and supporting with the internal smooth running of the key working team. This specific administrator role has unique responsibilities to lead on some health and safety related tasks for across the county from your Swadlincote Base.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate great organisational skills, with clear and effective communication both verbally and written. You will have good customer service skills, be a good team player and have a professional approach to all areas of your work. You will have a keen eye for data detail and be able to multi-task and manage your workload effectively and with a positive and proactive approach.
This role will be based at our Swadlincote office (at Rinkway industrial estate) which has a staff car park on site and good bus links.

Dog Welfare Assistants are the backbone of our centres, as they care for our four-legged friends every day. We’re looking for someone who can provide our dogs with the highest level of care and enrichment, as they prepare for their forever home.
What does this role do?
As Dog Welfare Assistant, you’ll:
- provide daily care to the dogs in the rehoming centre, working to Dogs Trust's code of practice and Health and Safety guidelines,
- educate potential new owners and the general public on the care and welfare of their dogs,
- deliver excellent customer service to all visitors to the centre.
Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for week commencing 16th February 2026 at our rehoming centre in Kenilworth.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to show empathy to both people and animals. In this role you will provide a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance of animal accommodation and surrounding areas for all animals resident at Bristol Animal Rescue Centre.
Bristol A.R.C. employs around 50 people with over 20 of those working directly within the Rehoming Centre. Our Rehoming Centre is staffed 7 days per week caring for Bristol’s animals in most need.
We’re here for the animals who are most in need, including those who arrive with the RSPCA Inspectors, and we hold the stray dog contract for Bristol City Council. Our team works in often very challenging situations to ensure the best outcomes and give as many animals as possible a second chance at a happy life. We’re here for people, for pets and for Bristol.

The Living Life Creatively Group gives people the opportunity to explore new skills through a creative project. In this context ‘art’ is used as an expressive medium to address emotional issues which may be confusing or distressing. It may give an opportunity to create something as a remembrance of a life lived in whatever form is meaningful to the individual: e.g. (but not limited to) a memory box or scrapbook of things significant to that person’s life, a life history, a cookery book, a sound recording.
As part of the therapy team, providing rehabilitation interventions within a group setting, facilitating a flexible group environment which allows a creative space.
Sessions are scheduled for two hours once a week.
