We’re looking for an experienced Female Waking Night Support Worker to provide overnight support to a woman in her 20s who lives in a supported living flat with access to a shared garden. She has autism, ADHD, epilepsy, and experiences anxiety, so a calm and reassuring approach is essential.
She’s musical, creative, and full of personality. She loves going to clubs, playing guitar, making cards and models, and attending music events and parties. She enjoys pub lunches, walks, and spending time with her family. She’s sensitive and expressive, with a love of bright colours and all things artistic.
You’ll provide overnight support to help her feel safe and settled, offering reassurance and encouragement as needed. While she’s independent, she may need prompting with routines and emotional support. You’ll monitor wellbeing, respond to any needs during the night, and help maintain a peaceful environment.
About You
You’ll have previous experience supporting people with autism, epilepsy, and complex needs. You’ll be patient, adaptable, and confident in providing person-centred support during waking nights. Strong communication skills and the ability to create a calm environment are essential.

Lead the member care department to interview, mentor, prepare and support these new workers as part of this new WAVE branch.

Orthodox Christianity is in decline in this region and the arrival of people from different nations is providing a new context to reach the unreached. WEC aims to respond to these opportunities and challenges, and to mobilise East Europeans to reach the unreached on their own doorstep, as well as to go to new cultures and join our teams around the world.
WEC is currently ministering in Albania, Greece, North Macedonia, Bulgaria and elsewhere in the Balkans. Each team has been involved in outreach and church planting, as well as in community projects and reconciliation, for several years. One team is running a free medical service and children's programmes as well as looking for more ways to reach their community. Role Responsibilities
Forward Trust’s Connections Team at HMP Millsike will have responsibility for delivery of a core ‘Connections’ service including:

As part of our Connections Team, you will help us to create a strong recovery ethos (or ‘ecosystem’) across the prison with a particular focus on our Designated Desistance Wing/ISFL.
Incentivised Substance Free Living (ISFL) – building on Forward’s experience of running ‘recovery wings’ in a variety of prisons.
Access to ‘Forward Connect – Forward’s added value ‘recovery community’ of former clients (ex-offenders and those in recovery) with nationwide membership of over 1,000.

You will be working as part of a team of twenty skilled individuals and you will be offered a thorough induction at an organisational and service level. Purpose of the post: To provide specialised, trauma-informed support to adults and families who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse, harm and violence.
Specific responsibilities:
Deliver specialist, trauma-informed support, to a case load of adults and/or families living in refuge, recognising the impact of domestic or sexual abuse, harm or violence, and responding with empathy, respect, and consistency.

We are looking for caring, enthusiastic and Passionate individuals to join our team of Activity Support Workers during the school holidays with the option of additional hours during term and weekends.
- To support children/younger adults in line with their needs and abilities at activities.
To be able to work with children and/or young adults in a group setting as well as 1:1 in the community - To stimulate the child/younger adult with play activities and social activities in the community.
- To help recreation providers/club leaders develop their skills base with regard to working with disabled children/younger adults, ensuring they are safe and stimulating
- To liaise as appropriate with the child/younger adult and their parents/carers
- To undertake basic care functions for children/younger adult where appropriate (e.g. toileting, help with feeding etc). Moving and handling training will be given.
- To work with club staff when considering appropriate integrated and specialist activities for the child/younger adult.
- To report any developments or concerns about particular children to the leisure provision staff and Line Managers as appropriate
- To provide information to the staff team concerning resources, provision and perceived needs of disabled children/younger adult in South Derbyshire
- To participate in the development of training for play and leisure groups / staff members.
- To participate in Umbrella Volunteer Training
- To support and promote equal opportunities
- To comply with Health and Safety regulations
- To work alongside other professionals on a number of sites
- To attend staff and team meetings and liaise regularly with the team on all aspects of the project
- To complete administration work
- To assist with any other duties that may occur from time to time in order to meet the needs of Umbrella, which are not covered in the above. These will be mutually agreed with your Line Manager

We’re looking for Female Waking Night Support Workers to join our team in Burghfield Common, providing person-centred care to six incredible individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Down syndrome, and complex needs.
What Will You Be Doing During the Night?
- Ensuring Safety:Conduct regular checks to ensure residents’ well-being throughout the night
- Promoting Rest:Provide emotional reassurance to help maintain healthy sleeping patterns
- Night Support:Assist with personal care needs during the night, including bathroom assistance and clothing changes
- Documentation:Keep accurate records of activities and any incidents
- Medication Support:Administer medication as required (training provided)
Shift Patterns
- Waking Nights: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM (rotas provided in advance)
