The Role
Located in Aylesbury, Kent House is a specialist residential centre providing continuing rehabilitation and specialist care and support for people with acquired brain injury (ABI). It forms part of the nationwide network of rehabilitation support services provided by Brainkind.
We will train you to provide personalised support to our adult residents. You will follow individual support plans to meet the needs and aspirations of each person. The focus is developing independent living skills: personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, socialising – the daily routine of regular life.

A solid understanding of safeguarding and how to respond appropriately is essential.
Experience working with individuals who have experienced homelessness, rough sleeping, or temporary accommodation is required, particularly those with complex needs such as substance use, mental health issues, and offending histories. The candidate should be familiar with recovery principles and approaches, and committed to empowering service users to make informed choices and work toward independence.
You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team, including supporting the induction of peer staff and volunteers. An awareness of lone working and health and safety practices is important, alongside motivation to uphold professional standards and use management and peer support to maintain resilience. Good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills are essential, including proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and email communication.

Great Malvern Priory Parochial Church Council (PCC) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and lead the management of the Development phase of Project Light and Space. The Project Manager, nominal 0.4 FTE, will coordinate all the work required to prepare and submit a successful Delivery phase application to The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Using money raised by National Lottery players, The National Lottery Heritage Fund supports projects that connect people and communities with the UK’s heritage. Project Light and Space is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players we have been awarded a c£700k grant to develop the Project which will conserve 8 of its unique medieval English stained glass windows and surrounding stonework, repair towers and roofs, relocate internal facilities to a new-build extension and create interpretation and hospitality space, improve accessibility, introduce new level floors with underfloor heating, improve the biodiversity of the churchyard and instigate a programme of engagement and activity. The full cost of the project, including the Delivery phase, is c£12m.
The PCC (the Client) wishes to establish a project team which is in place throughout the life cycle of the Project Light and Space. This post will be instrumental in both the Development and Delivery phases; this appointment is initially for the Development phase with an option to later extend to the Delivery phase, subject to funding, acceptable performance and adherence to procurement procedures.
The Development phase runs to October 2027, with the Delivery bid then submitted.

We deliver a range of MOJ Commissioned Rehabilitative services (CRS) directly for Probation in three key areas: Accommodation, Personal Wellbeing and Dependency & Recovery. Accommodation is delivered in Wales, Dependency and Recovery in London and Humberside, Personal Wellbeing in East of England, Sussex, Surrey and as a subcontractor in Kent and Cheshire.
These services work with Men 18+ who are under probation supervision, supporting them to navigate through their desired outcomes in order to achieve transformational change, break the cycle of offending and achieve long-term integration into society.

Role Responsibilities
You will be working remotely as part of a flexible, multi-disciplinary team, covering boroughs across London as a Lived Experience Co-Ordinator in the Dependency and Recovery Services as part of the CRS probation system.
You will contact new POP, providing an information pack, promote the benefits of working with us and introduce them to our Lived Experience Peers (LEPs). You will establish a referral pathway and continually promote our service in London via locally tailored marketing/publicity, e.g., roadshows/events, workshops, surgeries, local media, leveraging material from our ongoing “More Than My Past” campaign, giving voice to people with lived experience, and reinforcing the message that recovery is possible
Our aim is to reduce re-offending through a comprehensive, holistic and person centred package of support. Our service is tailored to meet individual needs by delivering a range of programmes within the Dependency and Recovery framework.
This role is primarily responsible for the development and management of the LEP’s Mentor service You will be required to recruit, train and supervise day to day management of volunteers and LEP’s
You will also co-ordinate team meetings, update training and provide supervision for LEP’s and Volunteers and where applicable support with Level 2 peer mentoring qualification
You will be required to manage a diverse case load with a range of complexities and risk levels . You will be responsible for completing comprehensive assessments, creating a collaborative action plan, maintaining accurate record keeping throughout.
You will be responsible for adhering to the targets set by Forward and the local commissioners. Co-operative working relationships with other partner agencies and probation staff are vital to this role.
In addition to Monday-Friday we will provide out of hours support, so some degree of flexibility will be required (eg. evenings 5– 9pm/weekends 9am–5pm) provided virtually 1:1 and through an online and telephone helpline.
You may at times be required to attend our head office for training.

SOLIHULL PARISH Role of District Safeguarding Co-ordinator
Purpose
To be the District church (St Alphege, St Michael or St Helen) representative on all matters relating to
safeguarding.
The co-ordinator is responsible to the Rector , the Parish Safeguarding Coordinator and the DCC who
should support the co-ordinator in the implementation of policy.
They are not a contact for reporting concerns or allegations.
Main Duties
Ensure Parish Safeguarding policy is followed in the District church by
1. Reporting any concerns or potential risks to the Rector and the Parish Safeguarding Coordinator
2. Being aware of all policies and processes in the Parish relating to safeguarding
3. Cascading information relating to safeguarding in respect of Diocesan policy, parish policy and
training opportunities
4. Liaising closely with those leading activities involving children and young people and vulnerable
adults in the District church to ensure safe practice is exercised at all times
5. Monitoring for each activity that there is a risk assessment which is reviewed annually
6. Ensuring all paid and unpaid workers are recruited according to the Parish processes for the
recruitment of employees or Recruitment of Volunteers
7. Identifying training needs, liaising with the Parish Safeguarding Co-ordinator where necessary, to
ensure all paid workers and volunteers update training at least every three years
8. Ensure DBS checks are done including rechecking after three years by liaising with the Parish Office
9. Ensuring records are maintained and available at Parish level on

Membership and Adoptions Assistant
Permanent 22.5 hours per week including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

The Membership & Adoptions team are a dynamic and exciting department within the zoo. As a team, we look after over 170,000 Members and Adopters! We are responsible for selling new memberships and adoptions face to face and over the telephone. We respond to emails and queries over the phone, process all online sales, assist customers in the queue and much more!
As a Membership & Adoptions assistant, you will:
• Sell membership and adoptions face to face with customers in a polite and efficient manner in order to meet our annual sales targets.
• Check and secure cash taken through the till and assist with cash up.
• Process the administration of membership and adoptions sales, inclusive of data input, online order processing, telephone payments and email communications.
• Assist in the monitoring of literature & stock including stationery and adoption images.
• Assist customers waiting in the queue by answering questions and issuing membership cards.

• Permanent Contract. Working on a rota basis including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Rate of pay of £12.21 per hour, regardless of age.
• Some evening shifts may arise but are not regular.

Our Requirements - Membership & Adoptions assistant
• Have a good standard of education, including in Maths and English.
• Have till and cash handling experience.
• Have excellent customer service skills both verbal and written.
• Have previous administration and data input experience.
• Have a good knowledge of GDPR.
• Be a competent user of Microsoft Office software particularly Outlook, Word, Teams & Excel.
• Have customer facing sales experience in a fast paced environment.
Although not essential, the following would be desirable:
• A basic understanding of direct debits.

An opportunity has arisen for a Safeguarding Officer to join the Safeguarding Team of the Diocese of Westminster.
The postholder will assist the Deputy Head of Safeguarding in implementing the National Safeguarding Policies of the Catholic Church on behalf of the Bishop and Trustees of the Diocese. The role involves managing safeguarding complaints and cases, supporting survivors with sensitivity and care, and working collaboratively with safeguarding personnel across parishes, religious orders and diocesan organisations.

Key responsibilities
Operations

Work in conjunction with the Head and Deputy Head of Safeguarding to meet the operational safeguarding needs of the Diocese

About you
You will have experience working in a safeguarding role involving children and/or adults at risk, with the ability to manage complex concerns and respond sensitively to disclosures. You will be confident working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies, while also able to challenge appropriately and advocate for those at risk.
You will demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice, and the ability to work calmly and effectively in a confidential and pressured environment.
