Hours: 3 hours per week , Mondays (6pm-9pm), during term time.

Summary of your role:
Are you a passionate team player who wants to make a positive difference through football? Look no further and apply to join our Player Development team to deliver on our Goalkeeper Player Development Centre in Hertfordshire. You will be key to educating & developing young people around how to develop as a footballer & as a person.
Your key responsibilities, but not limited to:
• Providing high quality football delivery to local ‘advanced’ grassroots football players in line with projects values and structure.
• Ensuring that coaching sessions delivered are in line with the FA Four Corner Model & our Goalkeeper PDC coaching syllabus / style of play.
• Ensuring you tailor your coaching approach / style to fit the individual needs for each player.
• Ensuring the team provides high quality provision to all players.
• Liaising with the PDOs & PDC Head Coaches to build new & existing relationships with local grassroots football clubs and/or players
You Must Have:
• Minimum Level 2/UEFA C Certificate in Coaching Football or working towards.
• FA Level 1 in Goalkeeper Coaching Or attended the National Goalkeeping Course
• In-date First Aid and Safeguarding Qualifications
• Experience of delivering high quality football sessions to ‘advanced’ Grassroots players.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Good organisation and problem-solving skills
• Due to the demands of the role, you will need to have a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle
- Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends, and commitment to fixtures during half terms.
- Understanding of the Trust commitment to EDI & Safeguarding
- FA Level 1 in Goalkeeper Coaching Or attended the National Goalkeeping Course
You Ideally Would Have
- FA Level 3 (UEFA B) Certificate in Coaching Football, or currently enrolled on a Level Three (UEFA B) Course.
- FA Level 2 in Goalkeeper Coaching
- Experience working within a professional football clubs community trust / foundation within football development/coaching.
- Experience of writing individual development plans.

Salary: £19,110.00 per annum
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm (with one or two evenings per week)
Location: Watford FC Training Ground / Vicarage Road / Trust Community Facilities / remote working due to nature of the role.
Contract type: 30 hours per week until 31/08/2026

Summary of your role:
Are you a passionate team player who wants to make a positive difference through sport and education?
Look no further and apply to join our School Sport Team to deliver on our core and funded school projects, holiday courses and player development centres. You will be working closely with the team to increase delivery of our school-based provision across Hertfordshire and Harrow.
You will be key to educating young people around enjoying the benefits of sport with the aim of enhancing their physical literacy and fundamental movement skills.
Your key responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Providing high quality educational delivery, both PE / coaching based, and non- PE based to local primary school pupils in line with projects values and structure
- Ensuring that coaching sessions delivered in schools are in line with the primary school curriculum and OFSTED guidelines
- Ensuring the teacher education for Premier League Primary Stars has the desired impact. This includes tailoring delivery to fit the needs for each teacher
- Ensuring the team reaches their overall targets across the academic year
- Liaising with the School Sport Manager to build new and existing positive relationships with schools to generate sustainable income for the organisation
General Responsibilities:
- To actively demonstrate and promote the Trust’s core values through your work.
- Adhere to the Trust’s policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the Trust.
- To work in partnership with all the Club’s departments on community initiatives as identified by the Community Director and Board of Trustees.
- To actively promote the Trust in a positive and professional manner at all times.
To undertake any other duties which might reasonably be deemed within the status of the job and appropriate to the post.
You Must Have:
- Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football
- Valid FA First Aid and Safeguarding
- Experience of delivering PE sessions that are in line with the primary school curriculum and OFSTED guidelines
- Experience of developing and educating teachers in a PE environment
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Due to the demands of the role, you will need to have a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle
- Flexible approach to working some evening and weekends
You would ideally have:
- Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football
- Additional coaching qualifications (other sports than football for example)
- L3 Afpe qualification
- Experience of working within a Community Club Organisation
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Your key responsibilities, but not limited to:
The Youth Engagement Officer (YEO) will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of the Trust’s social inclusion provision in Hertfordshire including Premier League Kicks and targeted interventions.
The role will provide regular, inclusive, and free opportunities for young people aged 8-18 to play and coach in football and other sports.
It will require improving the physical and mental wellbeing of young people to enhance self-esteem, confidence, and social skills.
The YEO will create a culture of volunteering, youth voice, and positive role models, to increase social responsibility, a sense of community, and help young people understand the value of their contributions.
The role will be responsible for promoting pro-social attitudes and behaviours to create safer and more inclusive communities by working closely with the participants, parents/guardians, police, and other stakeholders.
In addition, the YEO will provide opportunities for young people to transition into positive pathways in education, training and employment, through workshops and a structured mentoring programme.
The role involves coordinating casual coaches and volunteers to ensure that the services offered are of the highest quality and provide opportunities which inspire, engage, motivate, and empower young people to realise their potential.
You Must Have:

Minimum of Level 2 in Youth Work qualifications

· Proven track record of working with young people during both community hours and in school settings

Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire young people from all backgrounds
-
Knowledge of Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, and surrounding areas

In date Safeguarding Children & First Aid certificates

Experience of managing or supervising staff/volunteers
-
Experience of developing and maintaining key stakeholder partnerships in the youth work sector

Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams

Have a flexible approach to work and be able to work unsociable hours

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
You would ideally have:

Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Football

A degree related to this role

Other NGB and Youth Work qualifications (willing to work towards)

Teaching qualification (PTTLs, DTTLs)

Experience of writing development plans, work programmes, and reports.
