RELIEF DOMESTIC ASSISTANT
£12.21 per hour, rising to £12.44 per hour after a successful 6 month probationary period.
We are looking for individuals to provide absence cover for the domestic team to allow us to maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment for the clients, staff and visitors at The Northam Care Trust and its properties.
The post holder will need to be flexible and available at short notice to cover morning shifts over 6 days per week (not Sundays).
Responsibilities:
Carry out cleaning routines and ancillary duties in our Residential Services, as specified by the Registered Manager.
Regularly and efficiently process laundry and prevent an unnecessary build-up of clothing and linen.
Inform the Registered Manager of materials and equipment needed to perform your duties.
Keep all laundry areas and storerooms clean, hygienic and safe.
To work within legal boundaries affecting the post e.g. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (and subsequent amendments) and all relevant legislation.
Adhering to all COSHH guidelines.

Senior Support Worker Supported Living

SENIOR SUPPORT WORKER
37.5 hours per week. Based in our Supported Living Service in Westward Ho! £14.05 per hour, rising to £14.55 per hour after a successful 6-month probationary period.

Summary of Role
We are looking for a motivated individual to assist the Service Manager with a range of leadership responsibilities, to include providing supervision and support for an identified team and reviewing and maintaining care and support documentation.
The post holder will form part of the management structure by supporting the Service Manager to support people in a shared supported living service in Bideford. Providing person-centred support, in response to each individual’s needs and aspirations, will require the post holder to be flexible and responsive to change. The position will involve a rota over days, evenings, weekends and occasional sleep ins (paid at £68 per night).
The ideal candidate will have:
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
To be willing to undertake additional required training commensurate with the post.
Social care qualification, or willingness to undertake this.
Ideally have previous experience of leading a team in a similar service.
