£14.65 an hourWe are delighted to advertise the position of Catering Team Leader within our team at Newlands Bishop Farm. The site helps vulnerable adults with learning disabilities and our Catering Team Leader will be responsible for operations in the café building on site every weekend, with the remainder of their hours during the week.

We are recruiting for:
Catering Team Leader – We will consider full time candidates who would like 38 hours per week, with Saturdays and Sundays as fixed days. Hours are 8am to 4pm each day.
Pay & Benefits:
*Pay is at £14.65 per hour for weekdays plus a 12.5% per hour premium for weekends and bank holidays.
*If you are required to travel we pay at £0.45 per mile, and travel time is paid within contracted or overtime hours.
*Enrolment is automatic for the People Pension scheme where the trust pays a contribution of 3%, the tax authorities pay 1%, and the employee pays 4% of the gross earnings.
*Annual leave starts at 22 days plus 8 bank holidays pro rata, rising to 25 days plus 8 bank holidays pro rata after three years of service.
*Life assurance is set to two times your contracted salary.
*The trust pays up to £500 for referring a friend who completes a six month probationary period and another £250 after a further six months.
*Car parking is free at all our sites.
*Regular pay increases subject to business performance.
*Uniform is provided free of charge.
*Free tea, coffee and milk.
*We pay for your DBS check.
*Animal lovers will appreciate the variety of animals at Newlands Bishop Farm.
*We have an Employee Welfare programme which includes free counselling.
If you meet the following requirements, we would be delighted to receive your application:
*A DBS check that does not highlight issues preventing you from working with vulnerable adults.
*Able to demonstrate cafe and catering experience at an interview, including food hygiene regulations.
*An understanding of how to operate a commercial cafe.
*A driving licence and own car is ideal because the site is remote.
*Compassion for adults with learning disabilities, dementia, and mental health problems.
