- be instrumental in ensuring your store is a successful hub of the community, working closely with Rehoming Centres and representing the Dogs Trust brand.

QA Test Analyst

What does this role do?
As a QA Test Analyst you will,
- Take user stories and acceptance criteria and turn them into test cases that map to real Salesforce processes and objects.
- Work out what we test, where (which sandbox), with what data, and what the exit criteria are.
- Identify risks early — especially where data, consent, dedupe or integrations are involved.
- Write and run manual tests for the core Salesforce journeys (supporters, donations/income, cases/requests, campaigns, bookings).
- Keep the automated regression pack up to date (we use Provar) so it reflects what we use in production.

Salesforce Administrator

What does this role do?
As Salesforce Administrator you will:
- Handle day-to-day Salesforce incidents, requests and user support via the ITSM tool, fixing issues and making small configuration changes.
- Maintain and improve Flows and automation, including troubleshooting errors, simplifying complex processes, and testing changes in sandbox.
- Support data quality and reporting, including basic reports, imports/exports, and identifying repeat data issues.
- Follow governance, security and release processes to ensure access, changes and data are controlled, auditable and compliant.
- Proactively suggest improvements, support BAU optimisation, and develop expertise in a specialist area such as Finance, Marketing or Operations.

Could this be you?
You’ll have solid experience in Salesforce Administration within a multi-team organisation, ideally supported by an Administration certification, with hands-on experience building, debugging and fixing Flows alongside core configuration. You’ll be confident managing profiles, permission sets and SSO-aware access, able to build reports and dashboards when needed, and have a sound understanding of GDPR in a CRM context. You’ll also communicate clearly through ITSM/Jira updates and share a strong commitment to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust.

Behaviour Coach (Mat Cover)

We’re looking for a dedicated Behaviour Coach to deliver a range of behavioural rehabilitation interventions aimed at supporting dogs with behaviour challenges and their owners. What does this role do?
As Behaviour Coach, you’ll:
- deliver 1-2-1 and small group rehabilitation sessions using positive, reward-based methods, following referrals from Clinical Animal Behaviourists (CAB’s), the Behaviour Support Line, or self-referrals,
- assess progress and adapt training plans in line with ABT standards, recommending further sessions or re-referral to CABs or veterinary behaviourists when necessary,
- collaborate with Rehoming Centre staff to identify dogs needing post-adoption support and ensure adopters receive appropriate behavioural guidance and services,
- maintain accurate case records and complete administrative tasks using the CRM system, including session bookings, payments, and post-programme documentation for owners,
- engage in reflective practice and CPD, developing your skills and knowledge to make the world a better place for dogs.
Could this be you?
We’re looking for an experienced and skilled dog trainer with in-depth knowledge of canine behaviour and behaviour modification techniques. You’ll need to demonstrate the knowledge and practical ability equivalent to the ABTC Animal Behaviour Technician (ABT) standard or be committed to achieving this accreditation once in role. You’ll have a proven track record of working successfully with a range of breeds and behavioural challenges, including the safe handling of fearful or aggressive dogs. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to explain complex behaviour plans clearly to owners in both one-to-one and group settings. You’ll also be confident using digital systems to manage cases, have excellent time management skills, and be committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

Welfare Manager

What does this role do?
As a Welfare Manager you will:
- Lead, coach and develop a small team to deliver high-quality veterinary care and behaviour modification for dogs in our care.
- Act as a balanced advocate for both behavioural and veterinary needs to achieve the best outcomes for each dog.
- Oversee staff and volunteer training in behaviour and dog handling, ensuring all colleagues work within SOPs, legal, and health & safety guidelines.
- Develop and implement tailored behaviour modification plans for dogs with complex needs and monitor progress towards successful rehoming.
- Support professional development of Behaviour Officers, Dog Welfare Assistants, and Supervisors through mentoring, assessments, and workshops.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent, informed behavioural support before, during, and after rehoming.

Could this be you?
As an accredited clinical dog behaviourist (CCAB, CAB) with extensive experience in canine behaviour and welfare; including behaviour modification, clinical assessment, and risk management, you will have proven expertise in safely handling and rehabilitating dogs across a range of breeds and behavioural profiles. With a strong track record of leading, developing, and managing high-performing teams, you will also be a skilled communicator, able to influence and engage a variety of audiences.

Dog Welfare Supervisor

As a Dog Welfare Supervisor you will be part of a team who care about making a difference to dogs lives every day. You will be responsible for ensuring our dogs receive excellent care whilst motivating, managing, and supporting our Dog Welfare Assistants.
What does this role do?
As Dog Welfare Supervisor, you’ll:
- Be supervising and supporting Dog Welfare Assistants to make sure our four-legged friends get their daily exercise, training and enrichment and that their kennels are clean and comfortable until we find them their forever home,
- Co-ordinating the kennel block, helping with induction and training, completing monthly supervisions, and making sure Dog Welfare Assistants feel supported at work,
- Be continuously driving high standards of dog care and ensuring SOPs and processes are followed
- Occasionally be site supervisor on a rota basis.

Veterinary Assistant
Are you an efficient, pro-active dog-lover who is passionate about ensuring dogs in our care receive excellent veterinary care?
We’re looking for a Veterinary Assistant to assist in the efficient running of our veterinary suite at our rehoming centre.
What does this role do?
As Veterinary Assistant, you’ll:
- provide excellent care to dogs in staying in the veterinary suite, including cleaning, food preparation and monitoring recovery kennels,
- support the Veterinary Nurse with the smooth running of the suite, from maintaining a clean clinical environment and scheduling appointments, to supporting with consultations and meetings with adopters,
- transfer dogs to and from local veterinary practices for surgery,
- support our teams in kennels occasionally.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be reliable and flexible, with the ability to work on your own initiative or in a team to ensure that our dogs receive an excellent standard of care. You’ll also need excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to empathise with colleagues and adopters, handling the potentially emotionally demanding elements of the role. While a qualification in animal care is desirable, we welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates who are passionate about our work and have a commitment to our aims and objectives.

Dog Welfare Assistants are responsible for looking after dogs in our care and are the backbone of our centres. We’re looking for someone who can provide our four-legged friends with the highest level of care and enrichment, preparing them for their forever home.
What does this role do?
As Dog Welfare Assistant, you’ll:
- provide exemplary daily care for the dogs in our Rehoming Centre, working to Dogs Trust's code of practice and Health and Safety guidelines.
- educate potential new owners and the general public in the care and welfare of their dogs.
- deliver excellent customer service to all visitors to the centre.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with the ability to show empathy to both people and animals. A strong team player, you'll have lots of energy and a positive upbeat attitude. Experienced in working with or handling dogs, you'll be knowledgeable in basic behaviour and health issues and, above all, be committed to the aims and objectives of Dogs Trust.

Veterinary Administration Assistant
Are you an experienced administrator with exceptional organisation skills? Do you want to be a part of a team that makes a difference to the lives of dogs in need?
We’re looking for a Vet Admin Assistant to provide assistance to our veterinary team and the clients they support through a number of different schemes.
What does this role do?
As Vet Admin Assistant, you’ll
- Be the first point of contact those contacting our busy Vet team,
- Assist with the daily monitoring of a number of inboxes, providing clients with excellent customer service,
- Support with the administration of our emergency fund, which supports dog owners in financial need and provide cover in our busy pharmacy, based at our London office
- Support with the processing of prescriptions, maintain accurate records and organise relationship building meetings with vet practices for a number of stakeholders to attend.

Could this be you?
For this role, you’ll need to be an organised, people person; with excellent communication skills, with confidence across different systems, drawing from either experience or your ability to pick up new processes quickly. You’ll also need to work confidently under pressure, while maintaining the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately and use initiative. Additionally, an interest in, and commitment to the work and aims of Dogs Trust is essential.
A little about us:
The Veterinary department is a friendly team of nurses, surgeons and administrative staff working in the London office. The primary responsibility for this team is to provide case guidance and management options for dogs within our care across our network of Rehoming Centres and other veterinary related schemes such as Outreach, Shared Adoption Scheme (SAS), Veterinary Support Fund (VSF) and the Emergency Trust Fund (ETF).
Working hours are 9am to 5pm, which will require a minimum of 2 days a week based at the London office in Angel. Flexibility is necessary depending on the work required

Rehoming Coordinator
Looking to make a real difference to the lives of dogs and people?
As a Rehoming Coordinator at Dogs Trust, you'll play a key role in finding loving homes for our dogs, supporting adopters and helping reduce the time dogs spend in our care.
What does this role do?
As a Rehoming Coordinator, you'll:
- Champion the rehoming journey by providing excellent customer service, matching dogs to adopters, and arranging safe introductions, including occasional home visits.
- Maintain oversight of dog status across kennels, Foster and Home Stay, responding to enquiries and proactively seeking rehoming opportunities.
- Promote dogs ready for adoption by creating engaging online profiles and images, working closely with the Media Coordinator.
- Support the rehoming of long-term and complex dogs by liaising with the Behaviour and Welfare teams to communicate specific needs.
- Welcome and assist visitors during public opening hours, complete adoption paperwork, and contribute to kennel care as part of the wider team.

Could this be you?
With an experience of working in a rehoming environment, you'll have great customer service and communication skills, able to match dogs with suitable adopters and find their forever homes. Knowledgeable about dogs and their welfare, you'll also have good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities.

Fostering Coordinator
Are you passionate about dog welfare and building supportive communities?
As a Fostering Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in helping dogs thrive outside the kennel environment, recruiting and supporting volunteer foster carers, ensuring high standards of care, and working closely with adopters to find permanent homes.
What does this role do?
As a Fostering Coordinator, you will:
- recruit, assess, and induct new foster carers, promoting the scheme through events, conversations, and collaboration with colleagues across Dogs Trust,
- support foster carers with regular check-ins, arrange veterinary appointments, and provide access to behaviour or training support when needed,
- deliver training to foster carers with input from the Learning and Development and Welfare teams, either one-to-one or through organised group sessions,
- identify and place suitable dogs into foster care, including temporary placements for long-stay dogs needing respite from kennels, and carry out necessary intake assessments,
- promote dogs in foster or Home Stay settings by preparing profiles, contacting potential adopters, organising matching meetings, and completing all adoption paperwork.

Could this be you?
With experience of working with volunteers and of handling and rehoming dogs, you will have excellent communication and organisational skills. With and understanding of best practice in interacting with volunteer fosterers, you will have great customer service skills.

Are you a fashion-conscious dog lover who makes things happen?
We are looking for a commercially minded Store Manager to help us create a hub of sustainable fashion and a place for dog lovers in your community.
What does this role do?
As Store Manager, you'll:
- build and inspire a team of volunteers to deliver excellent customer service,
- maximise shop profit through achieving or exceeding budgeted sales targets, leading on pricing of items for sale according to guidelines,
- maintain high levels of shop presentation through effective merchandising, using commercial decision making to drive the best use of space available,
- use marketing skills to request quality stock,
- provide leadership and line management to volunteers and members of staff.
