We’re looking for highly motivated, adaptable volunteers who are interested in joining us for 6 weeks to support on a wide range of work across our entire organisation. We’re looking for volunteers who are strong generalists, excellent communicators, and have exceptional research skills.

Responsibilities:
On the Changemakers Volunteer Programme you will work across our Intelligence & Prevention Team, Operations & Development Team, Communications Team, and Data & Technology Team. Tasks you might complete include:
- Research and draft Key Judgements, which are high-level strategic assessments highlighting major trends and patterns in modern slavery and human trafficking.
- Research and draft Tactical Reports, which are investigations into specific suspected cases of modern slavery and human trafficking.
- Complete due diligence on potential partners, including NGOs, businesses, and financial institutions.
- Support the training and improving of the large language models that underpin the Traffik Analysis Hub.
- Gather relevant Monitoring and Evaluation data across projects, helping our charity to report impact to funders, supporters, and partners.
- Research potential funding opportunities and partnerships to develop a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
- Support on various administrative tasks related to our fundraising activities, campaigns, and internal operations.
Requirements:
- Interest in human rights and preventing modern slavery and human trafficking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of tailoring language to different audiences, and building trust.
- Experience conducting exceptional qualitative and quantitative research using both open-source and closed-source material.

Title: Pro Bono Legal Advisor
Location: London
Flexible time equivalent to 4 hours/week.

As a lean team, we rely on passionate volunteers to scale our capability and therefore our impact. Right now, we need legal know-how.
Currently, we do not have legal expertise within our day to day team, which can cause delays setting up and negotiating agreements with our global network of partners, and increase our organisational risk without in house legal advice to review the terms of our contracts.
The more efficiently and effectively we can process legal agreements, the more partnerships we can build to gather around our mission to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking. We will not stop trafficking alone. This role is critical to helping us continue to grow a network of anti-trafficking champions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tailoring contracts for programme partnerships, client services, and data sharing relationships
- Reviewing feedback and proposed changes from external partners
- Negotiating clauses to protect our charity, particularly around liability, indemnity and data protection
- Advising on best practice in contract structure and wording
- Training the team on our core templates and FAQ’s to build internal knowledge to help improve efficiency around legal processes
Person Specification:
- Qualified solicitor, barrister or equivalent legal background
- Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Familiarity with charity or nonprofit agreements is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, clear communication style

The Operations Officer plays a vital role in keeping STOP THE TRAFFIK’s day-to-day operations running efficiently. Working closely with the Finance & HR Manager and Executive Team, this role supports organisational systems, finance processes, and internal communications – helping our global anti-trafficking work stay coordinated, compliant, and effective.
This position suits a highly organised, proactive individual who enjoys creating structure, improving processes, and supporting others to perform at their best. You’ll be at the heart of the organisation – connecting teams, managing key administrative systems, and ensuring smooth operations across all areas.
This role will be responsible for:
Team & Office Environment
- Monitor STOP THE TRAFFIK’s phone and general ‘info’ inbox, directing messages to the appropriate team members.
- Support the upkeep of the office environment, ensuring facilities are well maintained and team members take shared ownership of the space.

Finance Operations
- Oversee the Operations Officer to reconcile transactions, issue invoices, process payments, and file quarterly Gift Aid claims ensuring accuracy.
- Prepare regular budgets, cash flows, and clear financial reporting for the Senior Leadership Team to support data-driven decision-making.
- Manage STOP THE TRAFFIK’s bank accounts, ensuring the safe handling and ethical investment of reserves.
- Produce quarterly financial papers for the Board of Trustees and lead on the annual audit process, preparing all necessary documentation for external auditors.

This role will lead our work to prevent recruitment of vulnerable people, overseeing our global prevention programmes that reach high-risk communities with lifesaving information, typically via social media (through partnership with companies like Meta & TikTok). It will also lead our data gathering initiatives, and the development of our new product, the Safety Centre. The Head of Prevention is responsible for ensuring our programmes are high-quality and effective, leading on safeguarding, and for monitoring and reporting impact to drive future funding.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Manage a multi-disciplinary team that works together to deliver prevention programmes, bring in partner data for our Traffik Analysis Hub, and develop software and data tools for vulnerable communities.
- With support from the Director of Intelligence and Prevention, oversee the flow of intelligence resulting from prevention programmes, including the safeguarding of individuals at risk.
- Manage relationships with funders and and partners. Manage data experts focused on bringing in high-quality data to our Traffik Analysis Hub, and leverage those insights to build effective prevention programmes.
- Work within the Senior Leadership Team to ensure organisational strategic focus against annual impact and income targets.
