Learning Support Assistant (1:1) Required From: January or February 2026 Hours: Part-time 8.30am - 12.00pm 5 days/wk, Term time only Contract: Fixed Term Contract, for two school terms, January to July 2026 Salary: £14.12 per hour We are a busy, thriving, happy and vibrant school who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Pre-Prep School pupil. The successful candidate would be working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to ensure the pupil can access the curriculum and reach their full potential. This role is ideal for someone who has a sound understanding of supporting children with individual needs or are familiar with working within a classroom setting and enjoy being part of a team. School: Oakwood School Location: Prep School Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (1:1 EHCP) Salary Range: £13.58 / hour Responsible to: SENDCo Contract: 8.15am - 12.45pm 5 days/wk Term time only Job Purpose We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 3 pupil with ADHD who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and other professionals to ensure the pupil can access the curriculum and reach their full potential. This is a fixed-term contract, for a minimum of one Academic Year September 2025 to August 2026, linked to the pupil’s EHCP provision.
