The role involves working to a rota which will include some unsocial hours and sleep-ins shifts or waking night shifts (based on needs of people supported). The rota needs to change from time-to time to provide flexible support, to cover holidays and sickness so it is important to us that you can be flexible with your working hours.
Due to the nature of the role, we will pay for you to complete an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, prior to starting with us.

We are currently recruiting for Bank staff to join our team. We are looking for people to work in various services across Kirklees including Batley, many areas in Huddersfield, Mirfield and Ravensthorpe.
As a member of our bank staff, you could work in any of our services across Kirklees but please do tell us if you have a preferred work location. No matter which service you are working in you will be expected to help the people we support to be as independent as they can and to reach their full potential.
Experience is helpful but not essential as we provide full induction and training. Although experience isn’t essential having the right attitude is. Everything we do is about supporting people to be as independent as possible, helping them to stay safe and doing everything we can to make sure people have enjoyable lives. Driving is desirable but not essential in all posts.

About the Role
Waverley Hall Day Centre is a vibrant, welcoming space just outside Huddersfield town centre. Each day, up to 40 people join us to enjoy meaningful activities both in the centre and out in the community. You’ll help support them to achieve their goals, build confidence, learn and have fun. Whether that’s through art, music, day trips, or simply a good chat over a cuppa.
Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8am and 4pm. Driving essential: You’ll need a full UK driving licence and 2+ years’ experience to help transport members in our 9-seater vehicles.
