Full and part time positions available.
Salary from £22,450.58 per annum which is an equivalent rate of £12.30 per hour; weekends attract a 50p per hour incentive. We also pay increased rates for Overtime and Bank Holiday shifts.

Assistant Cook – Hastings
HOURS: 22.5 hours per week, working across 3 days. Working pattern to be discussed but availability to work weekends is essential.
SALARY: £12.30 per hour plus 50p weekend incentive on Saturday and Sunday
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our small kitchen team at Hastings.
This is a role that will enable you to share your love of food with others. Using residents dietary care plans you will prepare nutritious and tasty meals.
You will have a clear understanding of the different food textures medically required by the people we care for or be willing to undergo the necessary training to gain knowledge as to why these are important to each individual. You will also learn how to achieve these textures using various methods according to the type of food and texture required. You will need to be able to follow guidelines and processes to prepare menus independently as pre-planned by the Kitchen Supervisor.
You will also ensure that the kitchen area and equipment are kept up to required standards of hygiene and cleanliness, helping us to maintain our 5-star hygiene rating.
Previous experience in a kitchen would be an advantage.
You must be able to work using your own initiative and drive as once fully trained and confident you will be working on your own to a high standard with minimal supervision. Support is available for anyone who may require adjustments to enable them to work.
We also need you to be prepared to work flexible hours, including some weekend work and additional shifts to cover holiday within the team. The shifts we require will be discussed at interview.
