Mental Health Team Manager – Cholsey Supported Housing Project - £31,200 - £36,400 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)
Contract Type – Permanent, Full Time - 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, inclusive of bank holidays, Occasional Evening & Weekends, with occasional covering of shifts. You will be required to participate in an on-call rota as part of this role.
Location - Cholsey, Oxfordshire
We are recruiting a Team Manager for our 10-bed Cholsey Service, a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week supported accommodation service for individuals with acute mental health diagnoses. This longer-term living service provides intensive, trauma-informed support tailored to each resident’s recovery journey. The role is ideal for someone experienced in managing spot placements and passionate about complex case management, tenancy sustainment, meaningful activity, and progression in daily living skills.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring the team delivers bespoke support packages aligned with individual needs. You will ensure KPIs are met and audits are successful, demonstrating the service is operating efficiently and legally. You will provide leadership to the team and encourage them to perform at their highest level achievable.

- Oversee daily operations and ensure support plans promote dignity, choice, and independence
- Manage complex cases and escalate serious concerns to clinical teams
- Facilitate move-ins, manage voids, and coordinate with brokerage and housing teams
- Lead reflective practice following serious incidents
- Supervise and develop staff, manage rotas, recruitment, and training compliance
- Create and manage rotas to ensure adequate staffing across the 24/7 service
- Conduct audits, spot checks, and ensure health & safety standards
- Oversee medication checks and safeguarding processes
- Advocate for residents in clinical consultations and support benefit access

Senior Mental Health Support Worker - £27,560 - £30,680 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)
Hours – 37 hours per week, Monday – Sunday, inclusive of bank holidays, shifts include mornings, evenings, weekends and sleep ins.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Response is looking for an enthusiastic, caring person to join their dedicated team at Carramar. The Carramar team focuses on providing care for clients in a 24 hour, 7 day a week supported housing service in Thatcham. The Carramar team creates a comfortable, safe and pleasant environment while helping residents work towards more independent living in the future.
As a Senior Mental Health Support Worker, you will be responsible for leading shifts, medication management, delegate tasks, manage incidents, monitor the health & safety of the project and residents. You will mentor support workers, leading by positive example alongside having your own case load.

- Lead shifts, delegating set diarised and daily tasks
- Take the lead during incidents, safeguarding and complaints in the absence of the manager, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered.
- Mentor new support workers through induction including the completion of the Care Certificate and medication training. Complete the care certificate assessors training.
- Work within a One Team Approach and ensure this culture permiates through out the team and lead by example.
- Respond to service phone queries and requests from both internal and external customers in a timely manner and delegating where appropriate to other members of the team.
- Undertake assessments of referrals and attend regular assessment and risk management training.
- Ensure risk is continuously assessed and risk management plans are kept up to date

- Have good knowledge of how to support with referrals and assessments
- IT literate with experience using MS Office packages.
- Previous related work experience.
- Good communication skills, written, verbal and listening.

We are looking for a reliable individual with multitrade experience to undertake effective and efficient repairs, general maintenance and other tasks relating to all Response properties both occupied and empty. What You’ll Be Doing:
Response are looking for an enthusiastic & motivated Learning & Development Coordinator in our amazing Learning & development team! As Learning & Development Coordinator you will play a key role in supporting the growth and effectiveness of the organisation by coordinating and assisting in the management of training initiatives and employee development programmes using the 70/20/10 model of learning. You will be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects, including records management and monitoring of training compliance through the learning management system. Being the first point of contact for all day to day learning and development related enquiries; taking ownership and resolving issues where possible and working collaboratively with the L&D Manager to support the delivery of the overall strategy of the department.
