We have an exciting opportunity for a Repairs Team Leader to join our team covering the Essex region.
We’re looking for a leader to manage high performing front line operational team and demonstrate value for money. You’ll ensure all activities are undertaken in a safe way, whilst adhering to all Clarions policies and procedures and work to embed a customer focused approach to all areas of the service.
You’ll predominantly be site based to supervise and monitor the work of a team of Trade Operatives to make sure they achieve defined objectives and standards. This includes providing guidance regarding best practice and relevant procedures whilst ensuring adherence to all Health and Safety requirements.
We’ll look to you to coordinate and allocate repair and maintenance jobs, tasks and activities for a specific trade or closely related trades, in accordance with defined requirements and time frames.

This is a varied and customer facing role supporting residents in maintaining their well-being and independence. Lone working you’ll have support from your Regional Manager and Head Office Team along with a Training and Support Assistant.
Organised and able to work on multiple tasks, you’ll have a good understanding of building maintenance as you’ll be responsible for the general management of the building including organising repairs and maintenance of communal areas as well as to the structure of the property. You’ll also oversee contractors who are on annual contracts and carry out the communal cleaning, gardening and window cleaning.
You’ll be an excellent communicator who enjoys working closely with people from all backgrounds, able to develop and nurture good working relationships with residents, contractors and clients.
As the first point of contact for any resident complaints, leasehold enquires or property alterations you’ll be able to advise and empathise with the resident age group which is typically 60 plus.
A good standard of IT knowledge and understanding is an important factor within the Scheme Managers role, as you will be required to use applications such as Outlook and Word.

We’re seeking 2 Environmental Caretakers to bring their expertise to our team. You will need to enjoy working with people and be able to use your knowledge and experience to make a real difference to our communities and our customers.
You’ll be working from our Morden office and covering Morden, Mitcham, Wimbledon, Raynce Park and Tooting and surrounding areas
This role will mainly be responsible for deep clean operations and the occasional bulk collections. Working in a team you will share driving responsibilities of a 3.5-ton bulk truck or a panel van and trailer when needed to go to and from our sites, and as such you must be willing to learn schedules and daily routes. Full training and mentoring will be provided.
In addition to managing work schedules and maintaining records you’ll be able to use a range of tools and carry out cleaning tasks and monitor estate activity. This is a varied and challenging role, which requires commitment, good customer care skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a ‘can do’ mentality.
You need to be able to work on your own initiative and be self-motivated to organise your own time effectively. You will need to be proactive in your daily activities and aware of safe working practices. You’ll have the ability to deal with members of the public, staff and community representatives in a courteous, effective and professional manner.

Experienced in handling confidential information and with a good understanding of GDPR legislation, you’ll identify and forward copy tenancy agreements to our customers and validate Housing Benefit status from notifications received, accessing the organisation’s finance system to ensure the customer’s details are correct and up to date.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and document control software and with proven organisational, planning and time management skills, you’ll have experience of working in an administrative setting, in busy, pressurised environments.
Adaptable to change, proactive and positive, and excellent communication skills are vital. Experience using electronic document management systems would be an advantage, but it is not essential.
