What will the role look like?
By becoming a Community Engagement Volunteer, you can support one or more of our community groups across West Leeds. You might also be involved in volunteering at a community festival or event whilst promoting local health and wellbeing campaigns and connecting with community members to inform them of the groups that we deliver.
We are looking for someone who is..

- Open to learning and is enthusiastic about trying new things
- Willing to attend policy training

Alcohol and Substance Worker (Focussed Intervention Team) x3
Be at the forefront of the Forward Leeds drug and alcohol service!
All roles are permanent but are subject to funding.
What will the role look like?
As an alcohol and substance worker and member of the Focused Intervention Team, you will be at the forefront of the Forward Leeds drug and alcohol service. Your role will be to work with service users who identify as having problems with drugs (predominantly non-opiates) and alcohol, to deliver appropriate interventions in a time-bound manner.
You will also be required to promote the service and communicate advice and information to the general public through coordinated attendance at a wide range of city wide events, presentations to varied groups, one to one engagement, work within the night time economy and many other types of public interaction.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience of working with people with issues surrounding alcohol and drugs and someone that has experience of effective interventions.
We would like someone approachable to be able to engage with members of the public in a one-to-one setting and be able to work with a caseload of clients.
Currently we are also accepting pplications for Trainee Alcohol and Substance Worker (37-hours per week, salary- £25,392 - £25,687 pro rata).

Administrative Support Worker
What will the role look like?
Based within the Forward Leeds drug and alcohol service, the purpose of this role is to support a Focused Intervention Team Worker with visual impairments with administrative tasks and updating case files.
The individual is required to work closely with the FIT Worker in accessing the service user database (System 1) and supporting in updating case files with interventions and assessments he has completed.
What we are looking for?
We are looking for someone with administration experience, who has a keen eye for detail and has experience inputting information and maintaining databases.
The individual will also be required to support the worker on home visits when needed, in order to maintain notes of any intervention delivered.

Digital Inclusion Worker (Part-time)
BARCA- Leeds are opening a Friday drop in and welcome space from their Manor House offices. The Digital Inclusion and Drop In Worker will lead the delivery of our Bramley Community Drop-in and Digital Support Hub, helping local residents overcome digital exclusion and access essential online services. This role is key to enabling people to live more independent and fulfilling lives by improving their digital confidence and connectivity. School Counsellor
What will the role look like?
The purpose of this role is to provide short term work, Our standard model is around 6-8 sessions of therapeutic support and will be dependent on assessment of presenting issues and engagement and in some instances, this may be extended. For our current school’s vacancy a 12 session model is routinely offered.
Referrals are made into this service via the cluster’s multi-agency Support and Guidance process.
The successful individual will provide Integrative evidence-based therapeutic interventions, where consent and motivation criteria are met for children in primary and secondary schools.
What we are looking for?
The successful candidate will produce work on time and to a consistently high standard, keep up to date with child protection issues, current policy and procedure, undertake project and practice evaluation as directed, monitoring your work and writing reports as required and work multi-professionally in the best interest of the client
This role would suit a counsellor who is comfortable and adept at adapting the way they work to engage with young people in creative ways where needed.

Young Peoples Practitioner - WEST EIM
What will the role look like?
Commissioned by West Leeds AIP, the postholder will work across schools and education settings within the West Silc’s catchment. The postholder will provide creative and strength based interventions to young people referred for support due to risks outside the home (CSE/CGE) IT is expected that interventions will enable young people to overcome barriers and to reengage with education and learning.
What we are looking for?
The post holder will be expected to provide mentoring and intensive support for young people referred to the service. Provide access to a range of interventions that are planned around the needs of the young person. This could include group work, one to one support and access to holiday activities. Support the wider family as required, strengthening attachments and improving relationships. And advocate with schools and other professionals involved.
