Senior Head of Trusts & Foundations – Bloomsbury Football Foundation | London
700,000 young people in London are growing up in poverty, facing inactivity and mental health crises. At Bloomsbury Football Foundation, we’re using football to help tackle these challenges and build resilient, connected communities – already reaching over 6,200 children every week.
We’ve grown fundraised income from £0.75m to £3.5m in three years – and now we’re aiming for £8m by 2028. Trusts & Foundations is our biggest income stream, and we’re looking for a first-rate fundraiser to take it to the next level.
As Senior Head of Trusts & Foundations, you will:
- Lead and grow our £2m+ trusts portfolio
- Write outstanding bids and reports that inspire multi-year, high-value commitments
- Manage and mentor two bright trust fundraisers
- Work with our Director of Fundraising and CEO to secure transformational grants
- Harness AI innovation to boost the pace and quality of our work
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of winning major multi-year grants (six- and seven-figure), exceptional writing skills, and the ambition to help make Bloomsbury the UK’s most effective fundraising team.
Salary: £58,000–£90,000 (or £42,000–£55,000 for a ‘Head of’ level candidate)

As Social Media Intern, you’ll help grow our online presence by capturing, creating, and sharing engaging content. This is a great opportunity to gain practical experience in content creation, digital marketing, and grassroots sport promotion.

Weekend Day:

About Bloomsbury Football
Bloomsbury Football is a charity using the power of football to change the game for young people in London. We believe that every child - regardless of their background - should have access to high-quality football experiences that help them reach their full potential both on and off the pitch.
Our Schools & Communities Programme delivers sessions before, during, and after school, as well as in the evenings, providing opportunities for children to play, learn, and grow in a safe and supportive environment.
The Role
We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and reliable coaches to deliver exceptional football sessions across our Schools & Communities Programme. This is a part-time role ideal for coaches who want to make a difference in their local community while continuing to grow and develop under the guidance of our FA-affiliated Head of Coaching.
You’ll play a key role in providing fun, inclusive, and structured sessions that improve participants’ technical ability, physical health, and social and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality football sessions before, during, and after school, and in the evenings.
- Support the delivery of Bloomsbury’s coaching philosophy and player development framework.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable learning environment for all participants.
- Be a positive role model, promoting teamwork, respect, and personal growth.
- Communicate effectively with parents, schools, and Bloomsbury staff.
- Attend regular CPD sessions and coaching meetings to support your ongoing development.
Requirements
Essential:
- A passion for coaching and working with young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging, age-appropriate football sessions.
- Commitment to Bloomsbury Football’s mission and values.
Desirable:
- FA Level 1 (Introduction to Coaching Football) or equivalent.
- UEFA C Licence (preferred).
- Previous experience coaching children or within community/school settings.

We’re looking for passionate and energetic individuals to join our team and support the running of London’s fastest-growing, award-winning grassroots league for girls. GSL Assistants work on-site at our London venues on the weekends to ensure that the leagues run smoothly.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Communicating with and directing teams and referees to ensure fixtures run to schedule
- Ensuring strict time keeping is kept with kick offs, half time and game end
- Responding to concerns or complaints raised by coaches, players and parents/spectators
- Moving goals and setting up pitches
- Tracking inventory of equipment
- Promoting a high quality, fun and supportive environment for the development of young players
- Reporting back to GSL Manager to ensure oversight of on-site activities

Bloomsbury Football is on a mission to transform young lives through football. We’re looking for an ambitious, values-driven leader to set the strategy and scale our Club Football programme, currently supporting 500+ young people aged 6–18 each week.
This is a senior role with real ownership: shaping the vision for 3x growth over the next three years, while ensuring exceptional, development-focused delivery for every player.
What you’ll do
- Set and lead the strategy for the growth and expansion of Bloomsbury’s Club Football programme
- Ensure high-quality, consistent delivery that drives meaningful social and football outcomes
- Lead and develop the Club Football Coordinator and wider delivery team
- Oversee programme budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and return on social impact
- Build strong relationships with players, parents, coaches and external partners
- Represent Bloomsbury Football as a champion of football for social change

- A proven leader of youth programmes, with a sound understanding of sport for development
