At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 25 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team as a Cleaning and Catering Assistant.
As a Cleaning and Catering Assistant, you will:
- Prepare and serve meals to patients, visitors, staff members and volunteers
- Undertake laundry, cleaning and housekeeping activities
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety
You will be based at our Warwick hospice, however, you may be expected to travel to Coventry or Rugby on occasion.
This is a part time position, working 22.5 hours per week on a rota (which can include weekends and bank holidays).
About you
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Kitchen Assistant, Catering or Housekeeping experience
- Food safety and hygiene knowledge
- A willingness to undertake training
- The right to work in the UK
This role will involve a standard DBS check, because it involves interacting with patients. We will arrange and cover the cost of this check.

About the role
Gifts in Wills are an essential part of Myton’s fundraising, enabling us to continue supporting patients and families across Coventry and Warwickshire.
As Legacy Administration Officer, you’ll play a vital part in securing this income and ensuring supporter and stakeholder relationships are developed and supported.
You’ll also support the wider Fundraising teams with other areas of administrative support.
This is a part-time position (15 hours per week during Monday-Friday office hours), which is office-based at our Warwick Hospice.
About you
You could be our Legacy Administration Officer if you:
- Have well-developed administrative skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with trustees, executors, and the public.
- Are well organised, with some understanding of the legal aspects of probate and estate law.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
A standard DBS check will be required because your role can involve interaction with patients. We will arrange and cover the cost of this check.

Our Myton At Home Service provides palliative and end of life care in the community.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident, enthusiastic and highly motivated registered nurse to join us as a Senior Staff Nurse Myton at Home.

- You will liaise and work collaboratively with all staff in the Myton Hospices, and external NHS organisations to ensure the patient and their carer receive safe and high-quality care.
- You will provide direct clinical care, clinical leadership, and co-ordination of the Myton at Home Service
- You will need to be flexible and travel across the South Warwickshire and Rugby areas

What to expect
You will be acting as a role model, and specialist practitioner having both an advisory and clinical input and focus into patient care.
You will undertake holistic palliative care assessments and identifying a management plan covering all identified needs of the patient and their families in conjunction with the community key worker (Clinical Nurse Specialist, GP, District Nurses).
You will provide physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for patients and carers.
You will monitor and assess symptoms and facilitate effective symptom relief by:
- Reporting promptly to the community key worker
- Administering symptom relief medication as per prescription, policy and in line with community guidance and Myton Hospice policies and procedures.
About you

- Current active NMC registration
- Degree in Nursing or equivalent Nursing qualifications
- Post Registration experience of caring for palliative patients and those at the end of life

This role will require an enhanced DBS check including the adult’s and children’s barred lists because you will be providing healthcare in settings including patients’ homes.
As this role requires driving, you must be able a UK Driving Licence holder and able to travel within Coventry and Warwickshire.
