Client Manager Groundwork – Green Doctor Programme

Salary: £32,000 – £34,000
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Groundwork London are looking for a dynamic Client Manager to join our award-winning Green Doctor service. In this client facing role, you will manage a portfolio of contracts delivering home energy and support which combines one-to-one energy saving advice with installations of low-cost devices in households to save water and energy, keeping people warmer in their homes and moving them out of fuel poverty.
You will also contribute ideas to continuously develop, innovate and improve the service.

An outstanding contract manager, experienced in managing multiple contracts and budget at the same time

Someone who excels at creating and maintaining positive relationships with clients

An excellent communicator with strong contract negotiation skills

Experienced in compiling and presenting target-based reporting and evaluation

Confident in using technology, project management and CRM tools and the ability to pick up new software quickly.

Positive with a solution focused attitude.

Waltham Forest Giving Programme Manager
Waltham Forest Giving (WFG) is an emerging place-based giving scheme that puts local communities at the heart of decision-making about resources and priorities in Waltham Forest. Guided by a steering group of local residents and working in close partnership with the CVS, council, and key voluntary sector organisations, WFG directly responds to what matters most to people in the borough.
We are at an exciting inflection point. Having established WFG and reputation as a champion of local voices, we are now looking for a creative, strategic thinker to take WFG to the next level, cementing its position as key infrastructure organisation, building sustainability, and futureproofing WFG’s impact.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a dynamic, place-based movement that brings new resources to Waltham Forest, amplifies marginalised voices, strengthens community infrastructure through capacity building, training and grant giving and creates lasting change in partnership with residents and organisations across the borough.

- Experience in the coordination and management of complex work programmes.
- Excellent networking and liaison skills, including developing and maintaining high-level partnerships and working at a strategic level.
- Experienced fundraiser from statutory, corporate and grant / charitable foundations.
- Skilled / experienced trainer to build capacity in income generation and related topics.
- Able to work strategically and harness new opportunities.
Experience living and/or working in the London Borough of Waltham Forest is desirable.
A Place Based Giving Scheme (PBGS) is an initiative, which understands, highlights, and responds to local needs. It brings new resources and approaches into a borough and creates better solutions through working together. Key activities include some or all of fundraising, volunteering, in-kind giving, grant-making, capacity-building, influencing and convening.
