PeopleCert is hiring a Localisation Associate to manage the end-to-end translation of Business and IT products from English into German. This includes assets such as official books, exams, and training materials.
You’ll oversee translation projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables by coordinating with freelancers, Language Service Providers (LSPs), and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). Your responsibilities will include translating, editing, proofreading, onboarding external partners, and optimizing workflows for accuracy and efficiency.
Working closely with the Localisation Lead, Enterprise Project Manager, and internal teams, you'll ensure seamless project execution while serving as the main point of contact for feedback and issue resolution.
As a Localisation Associate, your tasks will include the following:
- Create, manage, and implement translation projects within XTM TMS (Translation Management System), ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met while working closely with the Enterprise Project Manager.
- Identify and implement AI tools (e.g., machine translation, language models) to improve workflow efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and maintain high-quality outputs.
- Responsible for translation efforts for a variety of content types from English into German, ensuring consistency and quality across all products, while working closely with content teams.
- Perform file alignments, update and maintain translation memories, and prepare files for translation to ensure efficient use of resources and content reusability.
- Source, onboard, and manage external translators, Language Service Providers, and SMEs, building strong working relationships to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Provide clear and concise briefings to ensure suppliers understand project scope, deliverables, and expectations.
- Conduct rigorous quality checks on translated materials to ensure accuracy, cultural relevance, and technical precision, while working closely with the Localisation Lead to uphold PeopleCert’s quality standards.
- Act as the central point of communication for feedback, proactively addressing issues and escalating them to the Localisation Lead and Enterprise Project Manager when needed.
- Ensure all administrative duties, including file management, reporting, and supplier communications, are handled accurately and on time, while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project workflows.
What we look for:
- Native or equivalent fluency in German and English (LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be also a plus), with strong translation skills from English into German.
- Experience working in a Language Service Provider (LSP) environment or a translation function, with a focus on managing translation or localization projects from English into German. Experience in the professional education sector is preferred.
- Academic background in Translation Studies or in German Linguistics is desirable.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting time and budget requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Use CAT tools, Machine Translation (MT), and TMS (experience with XTM is advantageous).
- Experience in handling various file formats (MS Office, InDesign, etc.) with a solid understanding of file engineering within the context of localization. ECDL Advanced level certification is desirable.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to build successful relationships with external suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating closely with relevant stakeholders.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity, and place of residence)
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter-Terrorist Check (CTC)
- Financial background check
- Employment reference check
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK
In addition, if the personnel is required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in the English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.

Responsibilities
- Bring the Stranger Soccer brand and business to life for the assigned city
- Recruit, train, and lead a small central team (2-3 persons) as well as a few freelance Official Hosts (game hosts) to kick off the operation
- Identify and secure prime slots at football venues to run Stranger Soccer games
- Engage in creative sales and marketing digital and hands-onto ensure that customers are introduced to the platform as a convenient and preferred way to play
- Oversee a schedule of games, ensuring customers are delighted with each game they play, and keep coming back for more
- Take advantage of the strong backing and direction of Singapore headquarters, where an operations and technology team is ready to support you.
You should have
- A passion for football, and a strong connection to your local football scene
- A business background, ideally in management and customer service
- An entrepreneurial background or spirit
- A commitment to owning, driving, and scaling the Stranger Soccer brand in the assigned market

Requirements
FMCG Industry Leadership (8+ years minimum). Relevant industry backgrounds include:
- Primary preference: cannabis products, nutriceuticals and dietary supplements, tobacco, wines, other fast growing categories
- Other possibilities: alcohol and spirits, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, tobacco and nicotine alternatives
- At least 1 industry shift in the previous experience
Entrepreneurial Track Record:
- Founder or co-founder of a successful business (minimum €10 million in revenue achieved)
- OR: Founder of a new business division/subsidiary within an SMB (10-500 employees) with responsibility for building revenue from scratch to €10+ million
- Critical: Experience in small to mid-sized business environment where you had significant operational and strategic control (not large corporate middle management)
- Evidence of hands-on execution during early-stage business building (wearing multiple hats, managing with limited resources)
Geographic & Market Requirements:

TetraScience is hiring an elite engagement leader for key accounts in EMEA. The Engagement Director role concurrently drives activities for renewal numbers and drives overall success of implementation delivery and value realization. There is also a parallel effort to closely collaborate with Account Executives and Pre-sales TAMs to identify and land expansion opportunities.
As we rapidly evolve our platform and open up new value creation paths with new SKUs and new personas, we require an uncompromising and results-driven engagement leader to help us deliver scientific and operational value as well as expand within our customer base.
You are a customer centric and see-around-the-corner individual with a passion for delivering value while navigating customer hierarchy within the high-inertia Life Sciences industry.
You will need to fundamentally embody the principles of extreme ownership and have a demonstrated history of building and leading high-performing delivery or engagement teams.
You will have demonstrable experience in managing critical activities of your delivery teams and proof of consistently delivering complex data solutions in challenging scenarios. You are a top-tier communicator and able to tell compelling stories in difficult situations. You will be a forward-deployed captain to ensure customer success no matter the obstacles or friction the team encounters.
For the avoidance of doubt, we remain in the category creation and evangelism phase and thus you are not coming in to follow a strict playbook or be a siloed people manager. - 7+ years in delivery leadership roles within the Life Sciences software and data market with expertise in at least two of the following three areas: Discovery/Early-Stage Development, Late-Stage Development/CMC, Manufacturing/QC

- Worked in startup environments
- Led teams to successfully deploy solutions in the top 250 bio/pharma cohort (not biotech alone)

- Evidenced strong program leadership skills while navigating difficult periods with your delivery team(s)

What You Will Do
- Execute a comprehensive delivery motion to drive faster time-to-value with high customer satisfaction and meet annual renewal targets.
