About the Role:
Will be focusing on supporting our In Life products, separately budgeted and managed but strongly linked to our project, programme and portfolio management function. This is a crucial and dynamic role suiting an individual with strong expertise in supporting across a range of agile projects, involving close collaboration with the Product Director and Product Managers on several launched digital client-facing products that are still being regularly enhanced and refined. The Role
- Responsible for the successful delivery of assigned tasks or specific work streams on projects as measured by time-scale, budget and quality and in accordance with the appropriate Lloyd's Register delivery framework.
- Responsible for the successful delivery of multiple tasks that will be assigned from either individual or multiple project plans, dependent upon size and scale of the activity.
- Execution of work stream activities in line with the project plans, quality and budgets and as assigned by the relevant Project or Programme Manager.
- With support & guidance from the Project Manager or Programme Manager, to lead on stakeholder management for specific assigned workstream or projects.
- Responsible for project controls, measurements and governance of all assigned project activities, workstreams, or individual projects
- Prepares assigned project deliverables for the specific project activity or work stream within the agreed parameters in a defined format within an agreed timescale, and with the support and guidance of the relevant Project or Programme Manager
- Effectively coordinating and appropriately documenting project activities and work stream risks and issues and delivering appropriate and timely reporting to the Project Manager.
- Responsible for successfully supporting the Project Manager in the safe and effective delivery of services and deliverables to the agreed scope, quality, timescales and cost.

The Role:
- Working as a member of the Global Electrical & Control Discipline team carrying out design appraisal and consultancy against a range of Class Rules and statutory codes. What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the design of concrete structures with comprehensive experience in the design and analysis of offshore and onshore structures.
- Strong theoretical and working knowledge of reinforced concrete and post-tensioned concrete design and construction.
- Experience in analysis and design of concrete structures to international codes and standards (e.g., EN 1992, ISO 19903, AS3600, ACI 318 etc.).
- Experience in using and interpreting the output of appropriate engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, SACS, ABAQUS, ANSYS etc.,
- Effective communications in written and spoken English with the ability to prepare discuss and present deliverables to a client at a senior level.
- Preferably a Chartered Engineer and a member of a recognised professional body for example ICE, IStructE or IMAREST. (or working towards);
- Experience in developing non linear finite element models would be an advantage.
- Site construction experience would be desirable.
