Christmas Concert Volunteer | London
Volunteer at our magical Christmas Concert and enjoy the concert too! We are seeking friendly and welcoming volunteers with good communication skills to support our annual concert.
Volunteers’ jobs will include welcoming and checking in guests, setting up the venue, preparing the candles and putting programmes out, preparing the green room for our celebrity guests and preparing our hospitality rooms. Volunteers will also be asked to usher guests, help to collect donations at the end of the night and clean and tidy the venue at the end of the evening.

Volunteers will need to attend Grosvenor Chapel, 24 South Audley Street, Mayfair, London, W1K 2PA from 4.30pm to 8.45pm on 1 December 2025.
Support givenYou will receive a basic briefing prior to the event and you’ll receive a full briefing from the team on your arrival at the event. You will be supported throughout if you have any questions or problems.

Christmas Bucket Collection Volunteer | Gerrards Cross - Buckinghamshire
We are looking for personable volunteers to accept donations in aid of Child Bereavement UK, at Tesco Gerrards Cross. We will be there in our yellow t-shirts collecting donations and raising awareness of our work. We are seeking volunteers with a friendly personality who are confident speaking with members of the public whilst collecting donations in aid of Child Bereavement UK.
Volunteering location and datesTesco Superstore, Gerrards Cross, Packhorse Road, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, SL9 8ER.
- Sunday 21 December, for a two-hour shift
Shift times will be: 9 to 11am, 11am to 1pm, 1 to 3pm or 3 - 5pm
Support givenOur staff will provide you with an overview of the charity and the work that we do and train you in how to take donations using the card readers, they will also be available to support you on the day alongside the Partner and Community Liaison Coordinator from John Lewis. We will provide you with a Child Bereavement UK volunteer t-shirt to wear during your shift.
What you’ll get out of the experienceThis is a relaxed, fun and festive volunteering opportunity which helps to raising funds and awareness for Child Bereavement UK. Perfect for individuals who are looking to give something back through volunteering.

We are looking for personable volunteers who are able to help us with our fun festive fundraiser for one to three days in January 2026. We are ideally looking for volunteers who have a driving licence and own a van or large vehicle, although this is not essential. If you are volunteering as an individual, you will be paired with another volunteer.
On the collection days, Child Bereavement UK staff and volunteers will be driving around Liverpool collecting people’s real used Christmas trees from their driveways in return for a donation. The trees will be delivered to a central base where they will then be chipped and recycled. Light refreshments will be provided for volunteers on the day.
Volunteering location and datesOur collections will take place from 9am to 5pm on Friday 9 and Sunday 11 January 2026, and our base will be Sefton Park Mossley Hill Drive, Liverpool, L17 3BP.
Volunteer requirementsIdeally we are looking for volunteers who have a driving licence and own a van or large vehicle, although this is not essential.
As well as being friendly, able to work well with others and happy to follow instructions, volunteers for this role will need to physically able to lift and move potentially large Christmas trees and will ideally have knowledge of the local area and/or access to Google maps/navigation system.
Support givenWe will provide full training on what to do on the day and how to use the routing app as well as gloves, goggles and a Child Bereavement UK branded t-shirt to wear during your shift. All volunteers will be given an overview of the charity and the work that we do.

Volunteering location and datesOur collections will take place from 9am to 5pm each day from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 January 2026, and our base will be Wooburn & Bourne End Local Parish Council Offices, Town Lane, Wooburn Green, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP10 0PS.

We are looking for personable volunteers to support our John Lewis carol concert. Throughout the day choirs and handbell ringers will perform festive favourites for staff and customers. We will be there in our yellow t-shirts collecting donations and raising awareness of our work.
