Our current opening hours are 10.00am to 5.00pm on Saturdays and 10.00am to 4.00pm on Sundays – usual volunteering hours would be for a morning or afternoon, however we aim to offer a flexible and responsive volunteering environment and would be delighted if you can help us in our shop, an ideal commitment is weekly or fortnightly, but do just talk to us about the time you can offer.

What does a Bodmin Shop Till Volunteer do?
We are particularly keen to hear from you if you would like to be a till volunteer to sell fabulous second hand clothing and other items to our great customers. But the role of the Bodmin Retail Volunteer is varied and interesting.
If you are ready to price clothes for selling, steam garments that have been kindly donated, and put fresh new stock out in our shop we would love to hear from you too.
Bodmin retail volunteering may also include selling Cornwall Hospice Care lottery tickets which all helps to support the local community in Bodmin and surrounding areas.
If you’d rather be in the back room preparing donations for the shop floor that’s also great. What you do as a volunteer in our Bodmin shop may vary in relation to the time you are available to offer us, but we are keen to add you to our existing and friendly local team.

We are really keen to recruit a number of new volunteers who are interested in being trained to serve our customers on the till.

We are keen to recruit new Bodmin Shop Till Volunteers every day from Monday to Sunday. Our shop is open between 9.30am – 4.30pm.
Till shifts we can offer flexibly include: 9.30-12, 10-1, 12-3, 1-4.30 and 2-4. Please speak to us about the time you have available.
