An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Dementia Day Opportunities Team as bank staff.
Age UK Coventry & Warwickshire are working in partnership with Warwickshire County Council to provide Dementia Day Opportunities. We provide a range of person-centred dementia support services for individuals with dementia and their carers with centres in:
- Nuneaton
- Atherstone
- Rugby
- Henley in Arden
- Warwick
Dementia Day Opportunities provides a sociable atmosphere where engaging, fun activities are tailored to members; periods of quiet time are built in to meet the needs and preferences of each person. These include:

We are looking for part-time Support Workers to provide care and support to those who access our day opportunities, promoting choice, inclusion and independence at all times. You will be part of an enthusiastic and motivated staff team, providing emotional, social and personal support to individuals and groups. You will be allocated a central base but expected to cover (with notice) centres across the county.
This is a rewarding position for anyone who has a positive belief in their own ability to enrich the lives of others.

Support Worker-Home Support Service (Variable Hours Contract)
Location: We cover all of Coventry and Warwickshire – (Coventry, North Warwickshire, Rugby, Leamington, Stratford Upon Avon) - we aim to keep workers close by their own areas.
Hours: Part time, variable.
Salary: £12.21 per hour, travel time and mileage between clients.
About the role:
Age UK Coventry and Warwickshire are recruiting for support workers to assist older people in their own home. Support workers provide domestic support including shopping, food prep, cleaning, ironing, laundry and befriending. No personal care involved.Car use essential. Flexible working hours with competitive rates of pay including travel time and mileage. If you have a caring and compassionate nature, then this could be ideal for you.

Caseworker - Money Management Service
Location: 7 Warwick Row, Coventry, CV1 1EX (covers Coventry & Warwickshire areas through travel).
Work Arrangement: In person, with option of hybrid working after successful completion of probation period.
Hours of work: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Salary: £26,100.72 (FTE based on 37 hours per week).
Essential criteria include:
- Full driving licence and access to own transport for work purposes as there will be travel throughout Coventry and Warwickshire to attend client visits.
- This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
About the role:
This role offers an exciting challenge! You will work within a vibrant team based in Coventry ,with some opportunities working from home.
The service works with social services, local solicitors and department of work and pensions to support vulnerable clients aged 18 years plus, who are unable to manage their own money and are at risk of abuse.
As a Caseworker you will work with your clients, their families, friends and care staff to ensure they are supported to receive relevant benefits, assist them to manage their budgets and fund their social care needs, whilst always keeping the best interests of the client at the centre of all decisions.
