Our recruitment checks, induction and ongoing support and clinical supervision reflect our commitment to safeguarding young people. in our Drop - in February 2026 You will be required to attend mandatory training on topics such as safeguarding. and, . . - As a Youth Worker, you will: - - P rovide a welcoming and safe environment for Aylesbury Vale’s young people L isten to young people non - judgementally and build professional, trusting relationships with them . - Work with young people to assess their needs including on a 1 to 1 basis working with colleagues and other organisations to help meet those needs - Advocate for young people, helping them access services and outcomes to which they are entitled . - Report any safeguarding concerns you have about a young person to your line manager and/or the safeguarding team . - D eliver youth work in the community through our outreach service which includes work in all weathers in locations such as parks. - Nurture existing partnerships and develop new relationships with other agencies , such as substance to best support 13 - 25 year olds across Aylesbury Vale misuse, sexual health and homelessness services. - Record all interactions with young people on our CRM database - C omplete tasks that contribute to running the Drop - in Centre such as ensuring . our kitchen provision is compliant with food hygiene regulations, restocking our onsite food bank and cooking meals for young people. - C arry out any other duties as required .
