Reporting to the Wellbeing Co-ordinator at the Care Home and working as part of a small, supportive team, the Wellbeing Assistant will play a key role in supporting the residents at the Care Home.

About the Role

The Wellbeing Assistant will be required to provide a diverse range of activities for residents both at a group and individual level, based on individual need and capability in liaison with the residents, care staff and relatives.

  • To complete documentation to a good standard e.g. resident’s social records.
  • To promote the welfare, health and safety of residents when on trips.
  • To comply with Health and Safety and COSSH Regulations.
  • To assist ‘Friends or Volunteers’ where necessary during activities.
  • To positively represent Admiral Jellicoe House at formal or social events.
