This is a physical, hands‑on role, and to succeed you’ll have:
• Good spoken and written English
• A driving licence holder with own vehicle to commute to work
• The right to live and work in the UK
• A practical, active approach to work, with the ability to support people throughout the day
• A caring, positive and resilient mindset

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you’ll help people live fuller, more independent lives by:
- To provide care through the night, checking residents at regular intervals according to their care plan.
- To respond promptly to calls for assistance while always respecting the privacy, dignity and choice of the residents.
- To engage in conversations to help maintain residents’ sense of identity, upholding dignity at all times.
- Keeping clear and accurate records
- Working closely with colleagues and professionals
- Be always ready for unannounced spot checks and adhere to all duties and protocols while staying awake.
- Act on any other ad hoc duties that may arise during the waking night shift.
This is a role where building strong relationships is just as important as providing practical support.
