\n About the Role\n

We're looking for a new Part-Time Assistant Manager in Venues, our nightclub and gig spaces at Leeds University Union! Our USP is high volume of sales within a fun and safe space for both staff and customers. You will experience a range of operational bar manager shifts for a multitude of events held in the union throughout the year such as Fruity and Leeds Ball. In addition, a number of gigs throughout the year to keep you on your toes!

\n Some of the main responsibilities would include:\n

To be a key holder responsible for the opening and closing of the outlet and contribute to overall security of the bars.

To assist the manager in the training and development of weekly paid staff.

To be responsible for ongoing motivation and productivity of staff and leading by example.

To carry our administration duties such as shift briefings, banking and stock ordering.

\n What we're looking for\n

You'll need to be passionate about great customer service in a late-night environment with high-volume sales. Also, you’ll be used to working to the highest standards whilst being a great team player in a large team. Lastly, you'll have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to effectively lead and develop your team.
