Central and Northern Services

This is more than a job; it’s a career that supports people to live life to the full.
We need proactive and reliable people to join us within our Residential Services. We have positions for Support Workers to work nights. We have over 9 different houses located both in Central and Northern parts of the Island where they are located within easy reach of local bus routes. You will be joining a friendly, established team that provides quality support to autistic adults. Our waking night shifts usually start at around 22.00 and finish at 08.00 where you will work a 4 night on, 4 night off shift working pattern.
Autism Initiatives work positively alongside people with autism, providing specialist services that are tailored to each individual.
As a Support Worker Working Night, you can enjoy an interesting and varied role. You will be supporting autistic people to live as independently as possible, promote health and well-being and support them to maintain their home. For our waking night roles, the people who live here may require your support throughout the night and to have someone there who they have built a trusting rapport with will make a positive difference. You will be committed to learning about their needs, and be able to offer friendly reassurance and flexible support.
You do not need experience as we provide full training, but a genuine passion to making a difference to people’s lives and a positive attitude are key to being successful in this role. This is truly a rewarding role, with the opportunity for you to develop your skills, knowledge and fulfil your career aspirations.
We have a number of roles available, please do get in touch to learn more!
