Shift times are 07.30-15.00 & 14.30- 22.00 - longer days at weekends [alternate])

Sleep-ins are required for full-time roles and the Sleep-in rate is paid on top of contracted hours

We provide support and care to children, families and adults across Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove, Surrey and the London Borough of Bexley. Our services include registered care homes; supported living; community outreach; day services, including pathways to employment; children and young people’s groups and support; specialist support; and free online support for families and carers across the South-East.

About the Role:At Aspens we work across Kent and Sussex; supporting individuals with autistic spectrum conditions, learning disabilities and physical disabilities.

PLEASE NOTE: Residential service - we do not offer staff accommodation.

Falconer’s Court is a residential service, home to 7 adult females with autism spectrum conditions and other learning and physical disabilities.
Many of those we support have limited verbal communication skills and can occasionally display behaviours of concern.

On the other hand, the home is full of lots of energy. To match this, we are looking for a friendly, energetic and hard-working person, who has a fun spirit and a passion for supporting others to join our fantastic staff team.

Your role as a support worker will be vital in helping those that we support to feel empowered to live as independently as possible. You will play a big role in supporting daily activities which could include: baking, arts and crafts, swimming and bowling.

You'll also be responsible for carrying out the person-centred support plans (including personal care) and following risk assessments, administering medication and completing daily reports to ensure those we care for are safeguarded while living their best life.

Sleep ins are required for the full time roles.

Situated at the top of the main site, it has countryside views and two spacious gardens, a large communal lounge and dining areas, and a well-equipped kitchen.
