About the role
You’ll be joining a friendly and lively team in a supported-living setting, home to five gents aged 40–60, living across four neighbouring flats. They’re a sociable group who enjoy a mix of independence, routine, and community activities.
Who You’ll Support
Two independent gents who manage most daily tasks with minimal support and three individuals who enjoy structured activities such as:
- Day services
- Swimming
- Dance, arts and crafts
- Pub lunches
- Car boot sales
- Home-based activities
Communication & Support Needs
- Limited verbal communication — Makaton is used
- Prompting with personal care rather than full assistance
- Very mobile individuals who enjoy being out and about
- Use of public transport is part of daily life and activities
About you
- Compassionate, reliable full-time Support Workers
- Comfortable working variety of shifts includinglong-days, sleep-ins and alternate weekends.Sleep in payments are £50 per sleep in, which equates to an additional £2,400 per annum sleep in payments (based on 48 weeks of the year).
