About the role
We're looking for a confident, proactive and engaging Support Worker to join our team in Worcester (WR2), supporting a gentleman in his 50s who lives independently following a brain injury.
This is a highly personalised 1:1 support role, with some 2:1 support during morning routines, where you'll balance independence with practical and emotional support. You'll be working as part of a small team while building a strong, trusted relationship with the person you support.
He leads an active lifestyle and enjoys:
• Going out for meals, drinks and socialising
• Attending concerts, gigs and shows
• Listening to music, from Led Zeppelin to Girls Aloud
• Watching films and relaxing at home
• Visiting motorsport events, including Shelsley Walsh hill climbs
• Visiting local pubs, restaurants and cafes
Support includes:
• Supporting him with his personal care
• Meal preparation
• Administering medication
• Mobility support
• Supporting him to take part in the things he enjoys most
• Providing practical and emotional support while promoting independence
Shifts:
• Day shifts (Earlies / Lates / Long days)
• Sleep-ins (£50 paid to sleep)
Rotas are provided in advance to support a healthy work–life balance.
About you

Experience is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
